At the convention just look for someone wearing a brand spankin new REAL desert camo airborne helmet they are currently using in iraq. I good friend of mine purchased me one from the army. And ill wear that on registration night

 

May even wear my dads vietnam jacket too, incase you guys didnt know im a big military history buff and prob is gonna be my major. Love this stuff

Anyone know what the wheather is like there this time of year, temp wise?

This past week has been humid with temps in the high 80s and low 90s.

 

Late June, you're looking at temps from the 80s to 90s with high humidity. But the last couple of summers here in the Twin Cities have been pretty mild.

 

I will tell you guys who've never been to Minnesota, when the temps reach the 90s and its like 100% humidity, its unbearable. You want to just stay inside with the a/c on at full blast. On top of that, mosquitos.

i've never been to minnesota, but i'm going, and i'm taking a friend of mine with me. i am soooo excited!

 

it's gonna be mad expensive though...i hope i have enough.

i think i may have to cut my spending a little while i'm at the convention, and only get a few of the special items. at last year's convention in florida i think i spent $220 on other items not including the con set, but this time i'm looking at $300+ if i don't cap myself.

 

that might not sound like a lot to some of you, but that's a lotta scratch to a poor chump like me.

good gravy... I was trying to get the funds together after my recent car problems (remember the $2000 new engine?).. but plane tickets are 600+ bucks!
