To answer one of the earlier questions, the creation of the clone army was a plot by the Sith to help escalate the civil war that they created. In Episode II, Jango Fett says that a man named Tyrannus ordered the clones. This is Darth Tyrannus, or Count Dooku. Darth Sidious rose through the political ranks of the Republic and had his apprentice command the droid armies of the Separatists. That way, he could tie up the Jedi in war and cause enough chaos to keep them busy while he gained more and more political power by having the Senate give him more emergency powers. It was all part of the Sith's plan to rise to power, and no matter who won the war, they would ultimately come out on top.

I really really liked how Obi left Anakin to die, just picked up Anakin’s lightsaber and walked away after he gave Anakin a lecture on how we was suppose to be the chosen one and was suppose to kill the Sith and not join him. Its always great to see someone give another person a lecture after they pretty much killed them. :P

My favorite part, Jar-Jar didn't have any lines, AT ALL!

One line actually.. After Palpatine returns and all the senators atr there as the walk offhe says "excuse me"..

I just got back from seeing it a second time and did not pick that line up last night.

That part at the end where Obi Wan was yelling at Anakin ("you were like my brother, you were the chosen one..etc") reminded me of that scene in Americas Top Model when Tyra Banks went postal on one of the contestants a month back.

yeah, that big blue fellow Orn Free Tah or whatever says, "move" or something like that, and Jar-Jar says that, lol.. I giggled...

As for Mon Mothma, lol.. finny how people saw the Falcon, and a lot of people didn't see her, it wasn't a close up, just look at the line of Senators when Ani, Obi and Palpy are landing and look for the Lady in white ;)

Luminara was on Kashyyyyk or how ever you spell it, he's standing on a platform while it pans across a field of clones.. if you blink, you'll miss her...

Those are the only ones I saw on your first list, the Jet pack clone.. I 'll have to look in the background a little more... and the AT-Tr guner, there's a scene where you see a bunch of them lined up, so I wonder if there are any near or around them... I'll look again...

Grand Moff Tarkin-at the end talking to the Emperor

Captain Typho-Walking Padme to her ship(alsi sitting next to her when the Emperor becomes THE EMPEROR)

Sio Bibble-hmmm...

Boss Nass-Next to Jar-Jar at the end

Captain Antilles-The guy with the Vince McMahon chin that Bail give the droids to

Captain Tagge (later Admiral Tagge)-There's anamed mentioned somewhere, I'll have to listen, again, but someone says to contact "..." for something.. I wonder if that was the name, I'll have to listen to see if that's what it was...

I'm glad ther are a lot more people coming on liking it, what some people are forgetting is, we were all young when the OTC came out, it was awesome when were were kids, we didn't pick it apart, we just enjoyed it, and most of us, even when we got older, loved it because of the classic feel it had, and the memories we had while watching it.. now, we're older, we understand dialog better, we see the movies in a different way, so that's why, I think, a lot of people aren't happy with it, or saying it's "okay"

I bet my whole SW collection, if the OTC trilogy was to come out today, without EVER coming out before, and we were seeing it at our age for the first time, a lot of you that are calling the OTC perfect and far better or Holy... I bet you'd be nit-picking it to death also...

Me, I'm off to go see it for my third time, and I'll probably see it again, in a week a couple more times, I love it!

Wait when did they mention quinlan vos?

That caught me off guard, but it was a nice touch. Now if we could only get a figure.

I got the feeling that alot of scenes were cut. Does anyone have a list of the cut scenes?

Overall, the movie was awesome.

You can't really put it in that perspective and expect to get a realistic answer. These movies wouldn't be around if not for the otc is #1, #2 is the special effects in the otc are outdated compared to these, of course if they were released today we would pick it apart because we would be like why go from high quality to medium quality?

Even so I think people like the OTC more because it has more realism. These new movies seem produced for $ rather than for art like they originally were. ROTJ is the weakest one, funny how that's after Lucas sold out.

I'm not a OTC is completely perfect guy, I'm more casual than that, and I love OTC but realize its faults. Just so happens that the newer movies either have more of them or they're just more obvious.

After seeing the movie i felt strange, i don’t know, i have like a strange mmm taste? ... i mean i like the movie a lot, but i felt really betrayed by the clones @smilepunch@

And why do the respond to order 66?, did the clones had something on their cloning process that made them obey this order?

And i think that the characters in the clone wars cartoons had better personality that the ones on the movie, like graeivius.

I thought it was great, I don't know why so many people have problems with the love scenes in this movie, granted they were very awkward in AOTC but this time around Anakin and Padme actually seemed like a couple, to me anyway. I also liked the chatter between Obi Wan and Anakin at the beginning of the movie, cheesy it may be but at least it gives the movie some character. I also liked R2'S antics towards the start of the movie. As far as I can see this film brought humour and emotion back to the star wars saga, which were the two most notable absentees in episodes 1 and 2. And for the record Vaders "Nooooo!" was nowhere near as bad as I expected it to be. I was picturing the camera zooming out quickly with Vader shaking his fists in anguish like the ultimate cliche. In the end it was a lot more understated than that. I'd say the best moment was the montage of jedi being killed after order 66 was given. The music in that scene was great, I suspect if I would have been drunk watching that movie, Ki Adi Mundi's death would have made me cry, he just never had a chance.

Anyway, onto what I didn't like. Basically one thing, unfortunately it's the most important moment in the movie (and the entire prequel trilogy). Anakins turn. Light side Anakin worked and dark side Anakin worked, but the transition was far too quick to be convincing and I'm still not exactly sure why he turned. It's a real shame because that moment had to be perfect and it wasn't. I also felt that the Ani/Obi duel was not so great. The stare off at the start was cool and I loved Obi Wan's lines at the end but too much of it was flashy twirly dancing around with seemingly nothing at stake, that scene needed much more dialogue.

But overall I'd say it was easily the best of the prequel trilogy and even better than ROTJ, I imagine it will be a pleasent surprise for those so far dissapointed with the prequels.

With Order 66, it was likely that and the fact that as the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic, any order from Palpatine would be obeyed as he's the Commander in Cheif

The ones I listed second I did see, it was the first list I did not.

Did Luminara have Barris Offee with her?

Bibble was walking behind the Queen when they had Padme's funeral or whatever it was on Naboo.

I think Palpatine said to have Captain Tagge ready a shuttle.

I missed the Falcon. I need to look for it.

I was in the third row and the screen was so big I had to turn my head from one side to the other to see it all. I was probably looking at one side and missed things on the other. Next time I'm sitting further back.

Did anyone see those female droids when all the senators were greeting Palpatine after he was rescued? They were on the left side of the screen with regular protocal droids.

My biggest complaint is how quickly the children were named....

Ok... pop... uh LUKE!!!!!!

LOL, I was telling myself the same thing.

lol, The funniest moment has to be....

"Is Anakin the father?"

No Crap... nah I think it was Yoda. @smilepunch@

I thought when Bail Organa was totally clueless as to the fact Padme was pregneant was funnier. I know she didn't look like she was carrying twins but COME ON! What an idiot.

well its my first post in a while and ill make it a good one.

I thought the movie was well done and it looked fantastic. Some things went wrongbut i mostly blame thta on the first 2 episodes for lacking action and making episode 3 jam packed with 20 different storys that could be movies on there own. There were so many plots and the story went to fast.Episode 1 and 2 should have used some of these plots and not the ones that they choose like jar jar binks and the first hour and a half of episode 2.But for this movie its a different case its non stop action which is great. The only problem is the story and how anikan in one scene is ine then hes cutting off people faces and other bodie parts. All in all the movie was good the action and graphics are the best ive ever seen and its my 2nd favorite starwars movie next to Empire

Don't know what you all are bitching about.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it...but I ended up feeling a lot like Beachhead did. I just left the theatre feeling kinda empty (possibly even moreso than Episode I and Episode II...both of which I enjoyed), mainly because of how rushed the movie felt due to the amount of things Lucas had to try to fit into a 2-3 hour movie.

One of the things I did like, was the fact that Mace didn't go out like a b****. Seeing him kick Palpatine's butt was awesome, and how it ended in being Anakin's final breaking point which made him fall completely to the darkside was just icing on the cake.

Obi-Wan's character also came full circle, and was one of the character's that was really completed and made whole by this movie (the other's being Yoda, Anakin and Palpatine). Prior to RotS, Obi-Wan was never really a character that I could connect with, or cared about in the SW films, but after seeing this tonight, he has become one of my favorite characters (almost right up there with Vader, as Vader lost points with me after his Tantrum at the end of RotS.)

All in all, I liked it, but it will probably be the only one of the prequels that I won't see mutliple times, as I just don't feel the need or want to go see it again. I'll just wait until it comes out on DVD.

i agree with u 100%

also who thought it was funny when Vader in his costum scream for padme

It looked terrible

To many people see the OTC through "rose colored glasses". This movie , as well as EP I and II, are on the exact same level as the OTC. Cheesey dialogue, special effects driven. Alot of people that are nitpicking are just doing it because the movies dont play out the way you have imagined it in your head for 20 - 30 yrs. This movie is by the 2nd or 3rd best of the six movies. Personally for me the worst of the six movies is by far Return of the Jedi. Talk all you want of how quickly the Jedi die in Ep III, but look how quickly the Empire is defeated in Ep VI, and by teddy bears, no less.

I agree with most of everything you are saying here. People like the original Star Wars movies better because they are what they grew up with. I believe the younger generation will find the prequels to be the better films (if we don't brainwash them first).

I don't know who is more whiny...Anakin or the fanboys bitching on this thread. Get over it. The movie had plenty of holes...ALL movies do. It's easy to feel cheated when you have had 20-30 years to memorize the original movies and then pick out tiny little holes in the plot of this one. Who cares? There were flaws but overall this was a very good movie and it tied up the entrie Saga...as it's supposed to. How could Lucas possibly completely satisfy millions of whiny fans in a 2.5 hour movie? Gimme a break.

hey buddy Empire is ten times better story wise then any of the prequals

The battle on the Wookie homeworld was very very short. It didn't give you any idea how the wookies fight. They made that one scene with the explosives and boom it was over. What the hell? Can i please see some wookies use their STRENGTH TO rip some droids to pieces.

The Battle droids voices were just lame. THey need more deeper robotic voices. Why didn't they give Super Battle droids voices? Ugh...

I'm pretty sure the Battle Droids had the same voices that they have had in every film. Why would they have been different in this one? And the Super Battle Droids DID have voices . . . . same voices they have in battlefront if I am not mistaken.
