Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith

I saw the movie again last night, and noticed two things that I haven't heard mentioned.

The first thing is Vader himself, who is in a continuity error. Vader actually wears two different costumes in the original trilogy. One, used in a new hope, has the shoulder plates covered by black cloth, and the second, used in ESB and RotJ has the shoulder plates exposed.

Ep. 3 depicts Vader in his ESB/RotJ costume instead of in the one that came first.

Maybe Vader just has more than one outfit? Or just wears his threads differently on different days. No need to call it a continuity error. :P

Actually its just a matter of his cape covering the shoulder pads. He can wear them as he likes because he's Vader.

Personally, when I have kids, they will see eps 4-6 FIRST. Then I'll let them watch the prequels afterwards. I think that's the way its supposed to be watched.

You are right, they are different, but that still is a lame thing to call a continuity error when it is so easily explained by Vader wearing different coustumes or wearing his costume differently over the years that the trilogy took place.

That would be like saying Han Solo wore his vest in Ep. 4 and Ep.6, but in Ep.5 he wore a snow suit, and calling that a continuity error. It not a continuity error, people in the star wars univer just like wear different clothes at different time, like real people do. It is not a continutiy error, it is just realistic
