I Got Ticket #1 Baby!!!

OK, first I need to explain how this theatre works.

 

You call and order your tickets 6 days in advance.

 

This guarantees your ticket at least.

 

Then, when the theatre opens today at Noon, whoever is there to claim their tickets, is awarded them by who got there first. I got there at 9 so I got ticket #1.

 

This means, I can stroll in at 1159 and move to the front of the line, and I get to choose my seat before ticket holder 2 can come in!!

that's kinda cool, as long as they tell everyone this, that way someone doesn't wait 5 hours and then they're like.. no, you have to get a #, lol

also, I wouldn't plan on strolling in at 11:59, cause I bet they'll say screw this #1 guy when they go to let them in 15-30 mins before the movie starts

Yeah, I just called and asked and we seat at 1000 so I guess make that 959.

 

The system is great, as is the digital theatre itself.

just as ticket holder #2 isn't some big tall fat guy who sits infront of ya & blocks you're view :S I HATE THAT!! :S I allmost never go to see a movie on opening night cause of the croud... :S

 

Give me a theater full of NO ONE any day

 

I'm waiting a week or two after sw hits before I go see it... so after tomorrow I most likely won't even be posting in this section till I do cause theres enough jackasses blabing out spoilers now as it is :S let alone after it airs!

I'm with ya on that one, Synch! I NEVER go to movies on opening night, especially something like Star Wars. I don't like when the theater is full so I'll probably catch E3 next week or the week after.
