i haven't heard anyone mention this:

it looks like the comic pack serpentor's head is a remolded Dhalsim head!?

check it out:

I don't know, I'm leaning toward 'convinced', myself.

They may have had the same person/people who did the Charbroil/Knockdown heads back in the day (also VERY similar to each other).

And as far as Serpy's dome being smaller, remember: they're making molds of old parts nowadays, so the finished pieces come out of the molds a bit smaller than the originals (take a look at the comic pack '83 swivelarm pieces if you don't believe me).

I think it's possible.

Nahhhh.. I think its just they've both got similar facial expressions, given any expression other than "netural" is unusual on Joe's it gives a false impression that theres more comonality than there is

yup, and the Dahlsim head was just a modified Roadblock head, you know, because of the bald head and all. so in fact Serpentor's head is just a modified Roadblock head. in fact, I bet we could trace every Joe head back to Roadblock v1 with a little imagination. I say we start a new game right now, six degrees of Marvin Hinton. ahh, the conclusions one can come to when something is overanalyzed.

possible? sure, in the same sense that anything is possible. probable? not likely.

I mean, it could have been a modified Gnawhyde head as well, he has the same scowl.

I was almost convinced till a lot of you said they look different and decided to compare the pics side-by-side. They are different since you can see one of the heads have the two lines below their nose detail while the other doesn't.

Serpentor looks like he's snarling. Dahlsim looks like he's having trouble going to the bathroom.

It's all that curry he eats. His bunghole must blaze with the unbridled fury of a thousand suns. Damn near melts the toilet whenever he has to drop the Browns off at the Super Bowl.
