Ok, Are You A Sw Collector?

I guess I'm a little of both. I'm a selective fig collector - jedi, sith, bountyhunters and clone/storm troopers. But I also collected the older Action Fleet vehicle line and the current Titanium series. Nothing else... no cereal boxes, cups at the fast food joints, etc.

Figures only....can't afford the groceries....well, maybe the Pepsi 2 liter, but I drink that...

Right now it's mainly toys, since that's all I can seem to afford right now. But I'd like to go on to collect the movie posters, busts, props, die-cast ships, books, and other high-end Star Wars collectibles. I'd like to have a room someday that would resemble a Star Wars museum if you will more than a toy room per se. I don't necessarily care for the peripheral tie-ins, like clothes, food, household items, dog bowls (lol), etc. That stuff just holds no interest for me, no offense to anyone here.

Myself when it comes to Star Wars, I don't care much for the 3 3/4 figs, the ones i have bought are crap when pulled out for display for the most part, but that's how i feel bout them, I do have the whole VOTC collection, couple of Jango's, and a Dooku. I bought a couple of Lando's since he's my fave character. But for the most part i just love the Unleashed, i'm missing the unmasked Vader, and i think i'm gonna bite the bullet and spend the 100 bucks on ebay for the Boba Fett so i can finally be caught up on it. I have bought the new AMT models spent past 2 days working on them, did the AT-AT only prob with that one is the elastic is too loose for it, so it's heads sagging, i'm gonna glue the back part of the neck, so it's facing a direction in attack position, the AT-St, only picked that one up to test this new glue i'm using for my models, the Death Star which i just have to paint up a bit. The Falcon, i have to go buy paints before i put it together have to pre paint pieces. And the Star Destroyer, and now i want to buy about 5 more Star Destroyers and make a fleet.

 

Anyone know if there's a Super Star Destroyer model out there somewhere?? That would be the bomb. Or if there's one on the way??

 

Also I read the EU of Star Wars, i'm working on completing my book series. I just have to finish reading my two Medstar Books then Labrynth before the movie comes out.

 

Oh and i have the new Call Upon me Yoda haha. Thats what i collect for Star Wars.

 

I wish I had like 6 Micro Machine Tie's for my Star Destroyer, I'm planning on making a Dio with it, should look good when done.

I have almost all the toys since 95 and quite a lot of non toys merchandise too. I just buy the non toy stuff I like.

I collect a little of everything. In addition to the toys, I've collected the comic books, the trading cards, the Pez, and whatever else I can get my hands on. I just wish I could keep up with it. <_>

I'm a Star Wars collector, toys are just part of it.

Nah I don't think so man. Im not in the country at the moment.

 

If I do get it, Iam only looking to probably get Boba Fett and Yoda for the gf and thats it for me. I did pick up the albums for free at the airport on Saturday morning though.

Star Wars collector, but I'm not completist, I just collect what I like, such as my Slave Leia life size cardboad cutout I got on clearance for 5 bucks!!

Toy collector. Sometimes I wind up with the oddball item like some Ep1 crap I acquired somehow, but more the most part promo tie-ins don't interest me at all.

 

I mostly stick to the small figures, but I have one or two small Lego sets, and the Titanium & Micro vehicles are calling my name.

I would consider myself a Star Wars collector. I different items, Going all the way back to the original triology B.K. glasses, I have a few t.v. guides from episode 1, Some pez and other stuff im to lazy to dig out of bins and catalog.

SW collector... everything from VHS tapes, to DVDs to cardboard stand ups, to pool floaties, to life size yodas, lol.. okay.. just one...books, comics, cards, figures, food promo items, posters, autographs... etc...etc...lol... I've cut down since I've gotten married and had a kid.. but I still try to get the stuff I like(when I can afford it).
