Ok, Are You A Sw Collector?

I ask this because I almost feel a little crazy that I am out buying every cereal box, skittle bag, lollipop, puzzle, etc. etc. etc. as well as the figures.

From what I can tell from the threads, it seems most people on the boards stick to mostly figures? I don't see much mention of tie-in type things except for a handful of people. I noticed this on rebelscum too.

So, I was just wondering, do you all consider yourselves Star Wars collectors or Star Wars toy collectors?

Well I did buy a box of Sugar Smacks to get a Lightsaber spoon and threw the cereal away cause I dont like Sugar Smacks but its the only Kellogs brand around here that has the spoons, I also found myself eating more M&M's lately. Also I still have my Taco Bell Episoide 1 Cups and toys and will probably plan to eat at Burger King a few times.

Does that count???

Star Wars collector...I have 2 versions of the Star Wars Trivial Pursuit. 2 versions of Star Wars Monopoly...vintage Lunch boxes and just bought a vintage style pillowcase. I also have Russian versions of the original Trilogy un-CG'd...and the OTC boxset...that's without the toys and Legos.

Just today I bought frosted flakes at wal-mart for the light up spoon (WHICH IS AWESOME!) and it was only $3 for a deluxe box of frosted flakes and the spoon, I woulda paid that for the spoon alone but I got some awesome cereal I don't normally buy in the process. I'll probably get a couple more boxes, I got the red spoon but I want the blue.

Only StarWars figures now, but only clone troopers.

I did get the Kellogs cereal for the lightsaber spoons which are way cool, too bad you can't replace the battery. They only cost us 2.50 over here in California. I bought the Frosted Flakes for the blue saber spoon and Sugar Smacks for the red saber spoon. Wait a minute! I think they call it Honey Smacks now. Wow, when the hell did they do that?

I got the red saber with the frosted flakes, do they switch the sabers up for the different cereals or is it possible to get all the sabers in the same cereal?

Yeah the battery not being replaceable is the only downside, but it's worth it for the cereal alone ($3 is a great price for a regular sized box of cereal nowadays, and this is the jumbo sized cereal!), I woulda paid $3 for the saber alone too, so it's like a super great deal.

Naw, to me it isn't a waste because everyone and their uncle collects action figures these days...nothing special about claiming you have every figure anymore.

I make it a point to have my SW collection decimate my friends' collections.

Only figures, and not all of them either.

I got into SW recently because of the better articulation, and army-building is what I'm most into (I'm more of a GI Joe guy, actually). I couldn't care less about other Star Wars stuff, except the LEGO.

Yeah, usually they go the extra mile (at least with AOTC and ROTS, the TPM extras were often cheap and repetitive) with tie-ins concerning SW, makes it too hard not to get.

I try to only collect the figures but then I always cave and start buying the odd stuff so I guess I'm a Star Wars collector.

You Guess ?! @haha@

denial, it's a powerful force.

Just figures for the most part, I like the odd odditiys as well, like light saber spoons, & r2d2 bowl which I still need to get ect ect...

It has to be something decent/cheap enough & good looking for me to get really if its not an toy :)
