Ughhh....eyes red....tired....

Anyway, who, in YOUR slaggin' opinion, has the BEST Alt/BT design,overall??

 

I like the Subarus (Smokie and 'Streak) because their robot modes have NO major flaws, IMO.....pretty well designed, all in all, IMO .....

 

Sideswipe's not too bad, IMO.....the Viper is super-sleek...and the robot mode really ain't that bad either, IMO....

 

Hound, I used to have issues with his legs/feet, but I'm past that now and I think he's pretty cool, overall....he also has the easiest transform of all the Alts/BTs, I beleive....

 

Tracks is NICE!!! @firedevil@ He stayed with the Corvette car mode and it works....his 'bot mode is solid, but I think his legs are a little scrawny...

 

Jazz/Meister is cool!! I have no probs with his car or 'bot mode, really!!! @cool@ His paint kinda flakes though!!!

Windcharger doesn't look too much like G1 Windcharger but he's cool anyway....transformin' him isn't too complicated....

 

Grimlock/Wheeljack has those slaggin' arm-transform complications, but besides that, nyahh, he's okay....don't like those stripes on WJ in 'bot mode .....

 

Must have Prowl (or Red Alert, hopefully) before I can REALLY judge that mold!!!

 

I'm not gonna get into the Decepticons!! They suck (IMO)!!! @grumpy@

 

Well, guys, I wanna see how YOU disect these lovely, complicated, realistic TFs....or rather the way they are designed....

 

What do you like and don't like about each one?? Whatever....

I like Grimlock. the car mode is amazing.

Best Bot modes = 1.Tracks, 2.Swindle, and 3.Hound

 

Best Alt modes = 1.Shockwave, 2.Deadend, and 3.Wheeljack

 

Best head sculpt = Swindle/Grimlock (tie)

 

Most G1 accurate head sculpt = Hound/Jazz/Tracks/Shockwave (4way tie)

Isn't meister more poseable then Smokes and Streak because of the hip molding on the Subaru's?

Tracks has a nice basic hands down/easy aproch imo... Not to say thats its my fav alt quite posably o ne of the best basic designs ...

I think basicly 90% of the alts have decent enough g1 designed heads really though

Bluestreak's my favorite overall, but I think the 'perfect' one is either Hound or Jazz. (Minus his little poppy arm)

Most perfect would have to be Bluestreak(they call it Silverstreak...)

 

I actually prefer Ravage and Grimlock, but those figures have some flaws. I really don't think they've equalled the Suburu mold yet, and Bluestreak is the better of the two. I think Grimlock and Tracks/Ravage are better looking robots. Bluestreak/Smokescreen are #2 in poseability behind Jazz/Shockwave. I like Dead End, Grimlock and Hound as cars. Bluestreak and Smokescreen have the overall package though. The most G1 accurate transformation among the Alternators line is an added bonus.

 

Opinions:

 

Bluestreak(SilverF%^$ingstreak)/Smokescreen--the standard. Very poseable, good looking car and robot modes, and very few flaws. Joints allow for fine manipulation, and combined with a very articulated head, looks great in poses.

 

Sideswipe/Dead End--Bow legged, biggest kibble problems in Alts, stupid feet

 

Hound/Swindle--Don't care for the arms, the shoulders in particular, or the wussie little pistol

 

Jazz(Meister, meh...)/Shockwave(...blast)--lots of little annoyances, aka: weird proportions, floppy gun, ratchet joints. People really seem to like these for some reason.

 

Tracks--Line down the hood of the car bothers me. Not really poseable at all, but very pretty to look at.

 

Ravage--Black color makes the line down the hood nearly invisible, so thats a plus. On the minus side compared to Tracks, in car mode you can see right through it next to the doors. Otherwise, like Tracks.

 

Grimlock--Transformation a pain until you learn it. Pieces seem to pop off more than any other Alternator. Medium poseability. Still my favorite though.

 

Windcharger--WHERE'S THE FREAKING GUN????(Its in Japan, made by Takara co.) Long spindly legs that don't bend.

I honestly can't say that I like any one of them more the others. Even the decepticons are great IMO.

I've barely missed him 3 times now. Go to a store one day and nothing there. Go the next day and see Windcharger, Ravage, and Shockwave.... I try no to cuss, but I after the third store in a row I couldn't help myself..... :angry:
