I walk into my local walmart this morning (which did not participate in the 48 hours of madness) and I glazed at the shelf and see the EARYL BIRD KIT!

 

 

WTF, WALMART?????????????

 

Why didnt you tell us that you were getting these to the rest of the stores after the 48 hour tent crap? @grumpy@

At one of the Wal Marts down here (Metairie) they have literally tons of the early bird sets.. I have to go back and see how many they have left though.

Both of my walmarts have about 30-40 early bird sets sitting on the shelf. Man those things suck ass

Well I'm not surprised.....They were 30 bucks, come with nothing....and you have to wait months to get your figures.

 

 

Had they cut that price in half, and offered a set of 4 exclusive repaints ready to ship out as soon as you get them the cupon...I bet it would have done better.

I agree, who needs more "repaints" if that of vintage figures... now if these were say, updated figures, with the articulation like some of the new figures I'd be all over it...

They should have shipped these to ALL Wal-Mart stores. It's stupid to just keep it to 400 stores, some of which will never get rid of all they have.

I agree, who needs more "repaints" if that of vintage figures... now if these were say, updated figures, with the articulation like some of the new figures I'd be all over it...

it really pissed me off because long island was not on the list of 400 stores and DoubleDown asked a friend in PENNSYLVANIA to pick him up 10 for him. He had to drive over to pick them up to boot.

I was never atracted to this exclusive...mainly because I already have like 3 of each of them. Now if it would have been a reissue of the original XWing, BWing, MF, any other cool ship, I would have been all over it.

I do hope it's shipping to all WM stores. I haven't seen any here (yet) but if the numbers I've read in this thread are any indication, I likely will be.
