New Display Case - Pics

Hi Guys,

 

I finally picked up a nice display case last night. My Fiancee and I put it together, and I was able to put a few items in it. It is still a bit bare at the moment, since I have recently moved, and a lot of my loose stuff is still packed away in a box.

 

The case is from IKEA, and is $99 CDN. There is also a light that you can get for it, that goes in the top. However I have not got it yet, might pick it up next weekend.

Its about 5 feet or so. Pretty big, nice size.

& have fun finding a better deal on a glass display case LOL!

 

I just wish they were wider... Cause that small I'd need to buy like 20 of em to display all my stuff... Nice collection though man! good mix of both mosc & loose figures I like that silver vader figure!!

Thanks... That is only the stuff I could quickly get my hands out. I would estimate it about 5% of my actual Collection. I consider myself a collector of Many.. so I have GI Joe (over 200 classic RAH figs), Transformers (150+), Star Wars (50+ MOC), and some other MOTU & Spawn stuff.

 

 

Most of it is in boxes right now, since I'm currently living with my finacee in a 1 bedroom apartment, but I will try and get more pics out and about.

Sounds like you need a ton more of those display cases then eh?.. I too collect many different lines my self as well

I thought it was the most perfect glass case to display all my G1 Decepticon reissues without their boxes. I didn't get the light though, but I'm glad someone else is getting the same idea as I did. Wish I had some pics to show y'all.

great minds think alike.... yeah its a sweet case. I can't wait until I get off work, so I can go cram some more stuff in there.

well, it was a heck of a lot cheaper to build my cabinet. it's solid oak with 2 doors and glass panels for display. it's 3 foot x 4 foot by 12 inches deep and cost me a whopping $80 total... so i think i'll build another one if i can't find one for sale... maybe at a store going out of business...

Here is another quick photo of some MOC stuff that I have in my collection. There isn't much Transformer stuff around at the moment, since I usually open those (to transform), and all of the loose stuff is in a box. Actually the only transformer stuff I have around for the most part at the moment, are my G1 Re-issues and some energon stuff.
