yeah he wears that in the cartoon. I can't wait to get that. I do hope it looks a little better when its finally released or maybe its just the lighting there.

One more thing whats up with the classic pack. The other two look like they've accually got new figures. The classic pack looks like a rehash set thought, maybe they're just showing which figures are included.

sweet, yeah the Obi in armor is from the clone cartoon, most likely, they're doing another clone wars line because if you look, there's a Ani in his wife-beater and that asajj cjick again, so I'm almost postive they'll be from the clone wars line, as will probably the new clone 3-packs... man... I cant wait to stock up on those jet pack clones!!!!

Sweet! New CW figs that are not animated. I am not a fan of teh animated figs. So this is great as I love the first non animated CW line. I missed a Ventress to open so this is great news in that fact too.

It looks like those figures will mostly be coming in packs.. which is okay, I just hope that I don't get any repeats or figures that aren't as cool as those in the mean time.

 

As for Obi in the clone armor: he wore that armor for most of the Clone Wars cartoon, and he looked awesome! I was hoping to get a non-animated figure in those duds, but he looked a lot better than that figure. I hope the final product is much better, because I have been waiting for that figure.

 

I think I also saw a Fett in the background of the battlepacks.

 

 

and those Clone troopers look great.. both the Jetpack and superarticulated version.. which is why I haven't bought any of the "QuickDraw" version out now.

I read about the "Battle Packs" a few days ago, but the Anakin and Obi-Wan just looked kitbashed(?) w/ hints of the final versions. Obi-Wan even comes w/ a lance. @cool@ The other two, "Jedi Vs. Separatists" (Anakin, Darth Maul, Jango, Mace, Obi-Wan) and "Rebellion Vs. Empire" (Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Han, Luke, and Stormtrooper) still look like repacks :-/

 

Looks like the "Battle Packs" will be available in Aug/Sept, and the 'Spudtrooper' in November.
