Rots Figure Bases

I notice most Jedi and the Guards come with these bases... Do they combine and make a scene or something?

And can the Royal Guards stand properly on its own without them?

They do sort of combine with each other, but only in one specific way that I could figure out. Same with the "veggie" stands. Too bad they didn't combine a bit better, though - I'm pretty much just throwing these into a bag for now.

The Royal Guards can do anything!! :) But to answer your question, yes they can stand on their own without them (at least mine can:).

Edit:

It sure would have been nice if they did fit nicely together. Since they don't fit nicely together, I would have preferred the clear stands that came with the 4 packs. Maybe they could have just added extra accessories with the figures instead of making bulky bases that don't fit together. Anyways, thought I'd get that off my chest:)

I thought they'd create the scene from Palpy's office

WOuldnt that be cool? Like where they all get owned.

Wasn't there something like connecting bases for the Cantina Bar?

Classic - THanks for the info! I cant wait to open them! But I wonder how many Red/Blue guards actually guard Palpatine. Anyone?

Np, Skipper! The cons to the Red Guard are:

1. He doesn't come with a force pike.

2. (At least on mine), he has trouble holding the guns, so I use the clear rubber bands that came with the figure to secure the guns to his hands.

3. He lacks ball-jointed ankles, hehe, I guess ML has spoiled me:)

4. He lacks ball-jointed elbows - see above point. But, then again, they're not really necessary for gunners I think.

In case, you havn't been, rebelsum.com has got great reviews on the figures, and in some cases they outline exactly what joints the figures have:)

As for recreating the Palpy office scene, that would indeed be awesome. It would be cool if they added a talking feature to Palpatine, so he can say 'Are you threatening me master Jedi?"

An imperial army has around 50 royal guards, so I'd say about 4 guard palpy at all times.
