At last, my latest creation is completed!

 

I got fed up of looking at my ML5 Red Skull. The head and hat were so nice, but dammit, the body was crap. So gangly and small. So I did something about it.

 

The base is Officer Kroenen from the Hellboy 1.5 wave (why the hell is it 1.5???), and the head is a Kingdom Come Deadman. I fused the jaw shut and sculpted a more protruding brow and added the proper musculature for the jaw line. The eyes were just sculpey and glue. For the body, I had to hack Kroenen into little pieces, sand them down, then reattach and sculpt over the parts of the newly proportioned body. The rest was just a matter of painting.

 

 

As you can see, the 8" proportions helped give Red Skull a bulkier body in 6" proportions. He may be a little bigger than Cap, but that doesn't bother me much. Better he imposing anyways.

 

 

And for an addtional plus, made use of Kroenen's arm blades.

Very nice! Especially with his trenchcoat on... But there is one thing I am puzzled with... What's that bulge in his thighs? It look kinda weird in the pic... Just my feel...

I've been getting a lot of questions about the pants. Uniforms of the German top brass normally had their pants cut much like riding pants. The Kroenen figure has them, they're just not as prominent. I beefed them up when I shrunk the figure b/c the legs looked a bit thin. Detailing like wrinlkes and folds didn't show up in the pic for some reason, so they look fat, when in reality they're pretty thin.
