Marvel Secret Wars

Wel since nothing was really out this week, and I had my new credit card!! @smilepunch@ I decided to splurge and picked up the TPB of the Secret Wars. I remember this was one of my first serious forays into comics way back when!!! Of course I only had 4 of the last issues, but cool enough. I think I ended up selling my comics at a Garage Sale, but it's cool, they were pretty read through.

 

So anyone else have this TPB? Anyone actually own the original mini-series???

 

Can't wait to get home and get into bed and start a readin!!!

I have the original series and the tpb. The series originally came out when I was 13 and boy did I love it! I still love it for what it is...cool Mike Zeck art and who doesn't want to see a group of heroes senselessly fighting a group of villains. Anyway my 10 year old read the trade recently and he loved it too! The cover to issue #10 is still one of my all time favorite covers.

Yea it is a nice cover, but I really like the one with Doom on his knees, being torn apart!!! That one is nice, and the pink background ads a sharp contrast that makes him stand out even more!!!

 

I agree a great lil series that just brought in the best of the best, although the villains had something to be desired!!!
