anyways, now i can see what all the hype is about

nice box, but what i like is the little booklet and datafiles! (why no kickback?)

 

now that hasbro has stopped reissues (right?) i have no reservations when buying takara.

 

next up the minibots...

My first reissuse set, was the minibots, which I should be getting in the mail with in the next month or so :S

I haven't bought any Hasbro reissues and doubt if I ever will. I do have a few of the Takara, but I still need to get most of them. I'll probably catch up on them one day but it will take me awhile.

the kickback datacard was included with #5 Smokescreen if i'm not mistaken

If I ever collect them again, Ill go with Takara; I have the #5 Smokescreen which is not bad, the bumper thing bother me a little, but I can live with it.

I'm not picky when it comes to the reissues. I do have a few of the Takara reissues, but when you can get them at Toy R Us for $10 to $20 I'll go for the Hasbro reissues anyday (granted that is only recently tho).

That is what I do. I buy the Takara reissues and pick up from Hasbro the ones that they missed like Bluestreak and Thundercracker.

Congrats on getting your first Tak!! The Insecticons are a great one to start off with too. I collect both. I love the Takara ones, the packaging is just so nice. I also get the Hasbro because I can find'em so cheap.....plus their packaging kinda reminds me a little of the G1's I got as a kid.

My first were Megatron and Soundwave. I remember I was SOOO happy getting these, especially Soundwave. Until they decide to release Grimlock, I don't think I'll be as impressed with their reissues as I was then.

 

That's not to say I won't buy them, of course!

Yeah, the G1 reissues get me all excited like they did when I was a kid. Every time they post pics of the next release I'm like *eyes bulging* OMG, OMG...thats so cool!

its not that hard if your willing to pay $110+

yup! The Atrain is cool. some people complain cause he's white but I actually like him better in white.
