This sounds sweet:

Storm Shadow: ... Also included is a stand for his daisho set (paired swords), a staff, grapple line, tiger claws, and a pair of sais. The staff has two sockets where either the swords or the sais can be attached resulted in a bladed staff weapon. Lastly, his nunchucks feature fold-out blades

not my cup'o'tea, but with all the removable and interconnecting accessories and the stylistic approach, this could very well work out for Hasbro. I wouldn't be surprised if these were a hit, they look really fun to play with...for kids at least who aren't consumed with nostalgia.

These look ok...still not my 3 3/4 joes though. They could have done the same thing with the 3 3/4 sizes. There are two reasons I think these things are not going to sell. One is because of the price point. 15 bucks is alot for a figure that size. I mnean most 12 ich figures go from 9.99 to 19.99. second it seems Hasbro hasnt learned from it advertising mistakes. If Im reading right the toys come out first then the show airs in Sept. So the toys are out for awhile no ones buys them, then the show airs, kids gets interested but then there are no toys. again nice looking figures but they could have and should have done this with the 3 3/4 line.

the 12" figures can be sold cheaply because they use the same body for every figure and swap out between like 20 different heads. the Sigma 6 figures are all unique. That's why they cost more.

Heres the formula you get when you mix Sigma w/ Six:

Sigma + Six = A Bag of Sh-t

What's a SIGMA anyway?

Are these fraternity Joes? They're DEFINITELY a "deviation" from the REAL ones!

Curse you billy Lagor!

He had nothing to do with it.

Draven

for the comment "they have no action feature on the figure" was that for us collecters? like we would be buying this things? Not so much for the idea in general, i do think this reeks of hasbro execs, not Billy. But he was spinning too!

There is a lot of crap that went on behind the doors at hasbro over this methinks and sadly we will never know the true story. :(

Duke’s pistol fits into the rifle stock to form and assault rifle.

The staff has two sockets where either the swords or the sais can be attached resulted in a bladed staff weapon. Lastly, his nunchucks feature fold-out blades.

Snake Eyes: features a variety of “hard-points on his body where various gear can be attached. Snake Eyes comes with a pair of swords (featuring the Arashikage sigil just above the hilt), a variety of interchangeable visors, an Uzi with removable clip and a pair of climbing suction cups. The visor on Snake Eyes is indeed removable and shows lots of “scar damage around his eyes

Oh, man!

If only the 3 3/4 line had this much thought, ingenuity, resources, and attention-to-detail [with more consistency] applied to it figures, weapons and accessories as this Sigma 6 line is gonna have.

Both RAH reissues and JvC might've turned out differently as far as sales went.
