So Instead Of $7 For 2 Figures, Hasbro Wants Me To

no thanks. part of what has kept me buying GI joe is the value, and i don't think i'm alone. so i personally will not be supporting sigma 6, mainly because of that ridiculous price tag...

after mattel cancelled the comic accurate batman line in favor of the animated line, i supported the line because the figures were still cheap. hasbro just cut the product in half and doubled the price. bad move, i'm not sure who's gonna be willing to pay fifteen bucks for these.

That's a good topic, havne't heard it yet... BRB...I'm going to post my responce in my own thread @pow@

yeah, good luck with that.

my focus for this post is not so much that i'm angry at the demise of the 3 3/4" line, but that i think the price point and value (or lack thereof) is an issue that i hadn't yet seen in the typical "THIS SUCKS!!!!" kind of post. nobody forced you to click on it.

$15 is way to high imo. Kids won't get there hands on many of these. This is a bad way to start a line imo.

Draven

since they are 8 inch figures, should have been 7.99 like for a 2 pack, 2 4 inch figures, for 7.99 or one 8 inch for 7.99. There u go both problems solved, keep both lines. Good price. @smilepunch@

How much are Marvel Legends figures?

I honestly don't see this line lasting all that long.

Limited vehicles, for starters (look at the crappy 12" ones).

The figures look somewhat inhuman. You'd think at THAT size they would have better detailing then the 3" but they don't (at least not based on the current pics).

let's compare them to other 8" figures then. Hellboy figures were between $10 and $15, and they were a thousand times more detailed than sigma 6. McFarlane figs (7 inch scale) retail for around $10 at TRU, $8 at wal-mart, and between $11 and $12 on the specialty market. ML (6 inch scale) are more detailed and retail for between $7 and $10. so where is the $15 price tag coming from? i seriously would like to know. it can't be licensing, hasbro OWNS gi joe.
