At this point, the rumours are pretty much out of control....

 

My understanding of how the process for exclusives works leads me to believe that TRU has likely already paid for both the Winter and Processional sets. As such, they should still full production. As these are exclusives, it is highly likely that they could continue on, even after other avenues for 3 3/4' Joes have been terminated. (This fits with Hasbro's corporate philosophy of helping TRU stay viable.)

 

So, I wouldn't worry about the TRU sets...yet.

At this point, I'm feeling highly skeptical as to even getting enough of the wave 7 figures I'm wanting, let alone to worry about TRU and it's exclusives or the comic packs.

Well they still have the winter set for pre order and according to someone that works at TRU they still have the "Imperial" set in the system. Rumors and just that rumors, until we get some more info from HASBRO at the con or they release a statement that they are discontinuing their exclusives, it is just a rumor.

TRU should not be effected. The hiatus is mass retail to my understanding.
