How Do You Clean Rusty Screws???

Recommended Posts

Okay, I have CLR... can I just pour some in a container and let the screws sit there? If so, how long? And does it have to be in a special sort of container (I mean the material)?

Also, any of you guys attempt to clean rusty arm joints? Obviously they don't screw out. What do you guys do?

I paint em over. MY Stunticons looked so much better when I painted chrome over the rusty hubcaps. I haven't tried it with Joes though since rusty screws aren't really THAT noticable on them.

Er, thanks but no. Unless I start doing customs, I don't want to be painting any Joes.

C'mon... no takers? I thought this was fairly common...
