I Can't Stop Looking At This Beauty....

IMO, Bruticus is the best gestalt/combiner ever made - I can't stop playing with him!!

 

I know several people hate his hands/feet, but I think they look great - plus they are incorporated into the alt modes which can't be said for the older combiners.

 

Here's a few pics - what does everyone else think about him?

I like him as well, however he reminds me of Prime with all the bright colors. Thats the only knock I have on these combiners, they colors arent in the same tone and the recolored 2. I would have like 4 different limb molds.

I've got Barricade and for right now 2 Kickbacks and 2 Stormcloud figures so I can form Bruticus and I think he kicks ass.

 

Only one thing that bothers me though, Thats the Orange color of Stormcloud. It sticks out like a sore thumb from all the rest and just looks weird. It doesn't match well with any of the other colors. #WTF# So when the other limbs come out I'll probably get 2 Blackouts and just use those in combined mode. HasTak should have thought this one out a little better. (like I've never said THAT before!)

I have yet to see any of the Bruticus parts in the stores. I just picked up the first two Arialbots and the first two Constructicons today though.

The trick to the color problem is simple, you just get two of each bot & you get a better color scheme When I /if I ever find this guy I'll be getting two purple helies for arms, & I'll have to decide on what legs I want...

i just hate that all these new combiners are coming with 2 of each limb, that is crazy, i hate it...and then one is always off colour like you guys said. but he does look nice, just wish they put a little more thought into these things with their feet and hands.

Barricade is Energon, and Onslaught is Superlink.

REmember guys these suckers are guardians, they were there to protect the energon (so much for that :s) Which is what there combined forums were for! Anything else that needed to be done, well they can just do that in there seperate robot modes

 

Do we give jets hands? No, the jets are there to "protect " us, so we give em machine guy,s & missles so they can blow stuff up heh! Anything else that needs to be done we (the humans) can do! Same with these combiners really

Is there any mode in which that Decepticon symbol on Barricade is right-side up? That kinda bugs me. I also noticed you went w/ the symmetrical combination instead of using 1 copter and 1 tank for the arm and leg pairs.

Having only Barricade sofar, I'm a happy camper. His not mode alone is a nice design with the engine like chest and large beefy arms.

 

I notived if you swing the horns back on Bruticus' head, he kinda resembles his G1 namesake a little more.
