Transforming Question???

Okay so I picked up the 20th Anniversary Prime today at my local Wal*Mart for $30 (Woo-Hoo!). I transformed it to Truck mode just fine but now I'm working on getting it back to Robot mode, but I can't get his legs apart.

 

Is there a trick to this? I can't figure it out! Any help is much appreciated and thanks in advance.

um... if you mean seperating them, you just pull them apart.

If you mean how to make his legs longer, then push in the silver parts on the side of his legs. Push them in and slide them out at the same time.

Thanks, I must of had 'em really stuck, it pulled some of the paint off when I got it separated.

Eh..don't worry about it! At least you got one!

 

I could have had mine but at the time I convinced myself that if I got it then that I would find it like a week later at half price or something and I didn't worry cuz they had like 15 left at Walmart so I waited for the eventual markdown.

 

Then, a few months later, when the finally did mark them down they were all gone before I even knew about it! @grumpy@

Dont' feel too bad. I was the same way about waiting for the markdown. then there were 2 left at $43 a piece. Figured I'd wait, then they dissappeared. Got lucky today though, my mom was in Wal-Mart doing some shopping, and saw one there for $25. Mom asked a Wal-Mart employee, and he scanned it, $12.50. $12.50!!! WOOHOO!!

 

Although I can't get his legs to go in when making him into a truck....

$12.50, damn! I caved and put one on layaway at Walmart for full price. A week or more after I paid it off, I saw one for $25 at another Wally's . Got the difference back.

 

You need to sort of press in toward the protruding end on the silver canisters and push the legs in. You have to kind of jiggle the legs until they go in. It seemed like mine needed some practice at first, but it works fine now.
