Nope the Equinoz was a Nova class starship designed for shortrange scientific missions. It first appeared on a two part episode of Voyager entitled "Equinox". The captain was Ransom, and apparently his crew had been captured by the caretaker and brought to the Delta quadrant too. Voyager found them, and I'll say they had done more than bent the Prime Directive in attempting to get home.

The other ship JayC is thinking about was an experimental ship called the Promethus, which had been captured by the Romluans, and the Voyager doctor had been download to it after he was sent through an alien array to try and make contact with a federation ship in the Alpha quadrant. He and the Promethus' new holo-Doc( Andy Dick I believe), had to save the ship. It had multi vector assault modes and four nacelles.

Both have been released in the Furuta line of ships.

Yeah I just watched "Equinox" recently. Might have to see if I can find the vidoetape with "Message in a Bottle" too. Wish Star Trek DVDs were more reasonably priced. Still don't understand why they ask $100 for a season. Guess they want us to pay for the bad movies they have been writing huh. As it is I have ST: DS9 season 3, and a copy of season 4 on DVD.

In NYC, the normal retail price is $129.99. Only on the first day of release is it $99.99.

I agree, they are pricey. The only reason I have the entire Voyager series on DVD is the fact that the Best Buy edition all came with exclusive, limited run bonus discs. I only wish I got Seasons 1 and 2 at Best Buy. Missed those bonus discs (bought mine from Circuit City).

Love those special features.

So now I have two options for the other series (TNG and DS9), buy all 7 seasons at once (it's about $100 bucks per season or a little less) or download them.

Waiting to win the lotto....

Ok my bad, I knew it was a Voyager ship. As for DVD's I got all three season of the Orginal series and luv them, I got seveal seasons of DS9 which are great to. I refuse to pay for Voyager DVD's and Next Gen is on TV so much its hardly worth buying the DVD's at this point.

I'd love to have the DVDs of all the series, but given that I can get each and every one of them on TV, multiple times a day across various channels, and that the price point is absolutely ridiculous*, I've so far passed. I might pick up some sets second hand, eventually.

* They've in the past few months brought the price DOWN to $162 Canadian at the local stores. My Angel/Buffy sets each cost me less than $60 a pop, some only around $50. I'll have gotten the complete runs of both shows (12 seasons total) for less than it'd cost me for any four seasons of Star Trek.

Are the special features on the Trek sets THAT much better than the B/A ones that the sets are worth paying about three times as much for?
