I found this at TVShowsOnDVD.com yesterday and I thought that I would share it with you guys. Check it out.....

 

Batman, The - Newest animated show said to be heading to disc

 

Our good friend Jim Harvey over at ToonZone.net has posted some news in the past week about the 2004 cartoon The Batman. It mostly talks about other aspects of the show, but he has this to say about DVDs being in-the-works:

 

...expect the first DVD volume of The Batman, collecting episodes from the first season, to be released in early-to-mid 2005.

That's it, short and sweet. But a good heads-up nonetheless. Our thanks to reader "Drew" for tipping us off to the post. We don't have anything from the studio that speaks to this yet in the way of an offiicial announcement, so stay tuned and we'll let you know when we do.

Sounds good to me. I just wish they'd do Batman Beyond and the New Adeventures of Batman. Hopefully later on in the year of the Bat!
