Energon Soundwave

I finally had time to finish Soundwave. He's not great, but I didn't have to paint anything so I'm happy.

 

 

I think Highwire would make a pretty good Energon Frenzy. He has an evil face.

Not a bad job with the Soundwave though I do think that the head is a little to small for the body.

I think it's more that the legs are too big for the body. But I'm assuming that's HasTak's fault (I don't actually own the Ironhide mold).

Thats how is pl mode legs are displayed. they're smallerin the officail mode.

I forget...was this the American or Japanese Ironhide you carved up? I'm curious if the arms were grey already or are they painted?

Half is the Superlink Roadbuster which has the gray parts. The other half is the green Energon Ironhide and a G1 Soundwave head.

It's superlink. His limbs are grey, while Energon is gold.

Thats a really cool idea! I never would have thought of it, and it makes total sense! I like the addition of Tow Line's parts, and it ties in with all the gear around the head, not to mention it's not easy to come up with a new SW alt mode! Nice!
