So How Were The First Appearance 2 Figures

I keep debating on wheter or not to buy FA Robin, I wanted FA hawkman to have one, but I can't think of any way to make him look like the modern age hawkman, so I passed on him. Anyone own the FA Robin, and got any pictures?

No pics yet, but I really dig this entire retro series. Some have complained about FA Robin's size (he's a bit bigger than SA Robin) but overall he looks great! I have these displayed separate from my other DCD figures, they all look very cool lined up together. Hawkman's heavy wings make him tend to lean back so be wary of that.

That Robin is calling out to me, I just think the figure is so classic looking... Can't wait to see pics.

Considering Robin is almost as tall as the FA Batman from Wave 1, and easily *wider* than Bats without the cape, it's totally out-of-scale.

 

I passed on him, and am considering getting rid of my FA Batman now... They were supposed to display well together, but Robin looks like he's suffering from Juvenile Gigantism, and it's not working for me at all.

Well, I'm not concerned with comic accuracy. He's out of proportion with FA Batman, and it looks ridiculous when they're next to one another.

 

Comics don't translate 100% to toys. Toys have to make sense in 3 dimensions, and these two, which logic says should be a set, clash with each other big time.

 

So I passed on an expensive figure, and I've run out of love for another. My shelves are better off for the loss.

I heard Robin is very good. Alan Scott looks the best IMO and Hawkman!

FA Robin = Boy Hostage. a Pedophiles dream. i like the figure and all but they put a smile on him and it just looks wrong. i can get some pictures of him later tonight.

that was the only thing i don't like about him..that big as grin makes him look like he's gotten a dose of smilex @hmmm@ i love the body sculpt though even though his head his freakin' huge i think he's the best figure out of wave 2...love the cape with the wire in it as well.
