I maybe married but I'm not taken, neither am i owned, and I never will be. I am my own person and will answer to noone. NOONE!

 

 

I think the term "taken" is just another way of saying you're unavailable. Unavailable to the advances of OTHER men, as you are now happily (hopefully) committed (as in faithful) to just ONE man...your husband, as is he to YOU!

 

These aren't derogatory terms and something you've already made an oath or taken a vow over. You're in an exclusive relationship with one person, which isn't to say you're "owned" or that you have to "answer to" anyone. The thing that's most important in a committed realtionship, is the intimate aspects of it, as we can ALL still have relationships with other people (of the opposite sex) and be close with them and care about them as friends, but it's the more intimate affections that go toward your spouse.

 

If you're married...then technically you ARE "taken". Like you have been "taken" from the singles column and now placed over on the married column, and this lets would be suitors know that you're "unavailable" for a SEXUAL relation.

If I wasn't attracted to WOMEN, I would have never married one! I keep trying to explain that to my wife, when she gets mad about me commenting on the attractiveness of another women (say...a celebrity or something, that's of TOTALLY no threat to her @lol@) and that I'm STILL attracted to the opposite sex, but now I'm content in a relationship with just ONE and I chose HER.

 

She still gets mad and jealous though, and would prefer that once a man gets married...he turns gay, except for his WIFE! @lol@

 

 

Hey its Kirstie Alley!

Maybe the same color hair 10 years ago, but my wife does not look like Kristie Alley. Plus, my wife weights a couple hundred pounds less than Kristie Alley, and she does not have a raspy voice.

 

 

Kirstie was a nice looking woman 15 years ago.

While I understand the sentiment, I have to take exception to you being the one to express it. Being a new member and all, I wouldn't think you to ready be in any position of delegating proper protocol, etiquette or forum policies, especially with the use of the term "we". You speak for yourself and nobody else, even if they share the sentiment.

 

This is the COMMUNITY center...and it's chock full of "personal" information about each other, and this particular topic was created to share our images, to make it even MORE personal, than just words on a screen. Scroll thru the 100+ pages and you'll find as much "personal" chatter as well as pictures.

 

Not to mention, if you truely wanted to adhere to the topic, in such a stringent manner (no personal info) you should have just added your own picture, and not make the personal comment on Kirstie Allies looks and the followup about the sharing of our personal lives.

 

You'd be amazed at how much personal stuff we love to share! I know who farts the most around here, and whose spouse is cheating on who and who's getting divorced because of it, and if somebody hasn't had a bowel movement in two days! @lol@

Personally I agree with you. VH, I think, hit the nail on the head! That's healthy though, and not a bad way to feel about each other, seeing how so many couples could care less about each other anymore. Jealousy in small doses can be a good thing, like taking possession of your mate. Knowing somebody cares about you THAT much, can be a comfort and a securing feeling.

 

I don't know how porn stars can have exclusive "relationships" with others, when the VERY thing that seperates us from our friends (of the opposite sex) and our partners in a more personal/intimate relationship, is the very thing they treat so non-chalantly with others all day...as a JOB?

Without picking on Renesis, since he is new, we all have been here for years so we already know about each other and much about one anothers personal lives. I would be greatly sad if I never got to know how my friends were.

 

Bottom line is people here are friends. Maybe not the type like you and your best friend hanging out. However we have become friends and if I was ever near one of these guys I would love to hang out with them.

 

Not to point anyone out over another but I gauantee if VH and I meet one day we would get along just as good as we do here.

Went up over 200lbs for the first time in my life, and trying to turn it into muscle by working out harder...but it ain't workin'!

 

Bottom line is people here are friends. Maybe not the type like you and your best friend hanging out. However we have become friends and if I was ever near one of these guys I would love to hang out with them.

 

Not to point anyone out over another but I gauantee if VH and I meet one day we would get along just as good as we do here.

Dude, why can't we talk about our personal lives?? I don't see the issue here.. we've been doing it all along!! VH is cool, Pat is cool.. lots of guys & the few other girls on here are cool.
