What Is This Holiday Season's

I have been wondering, especially in some of you guy's specific areas, what seems to be the hot seller for parents.

 

My vote goes for TMNT...I've had 3 Moms approach me and ask me questions about TMNT while I was browsing TRU.

I have no idea... It always ends up being something weird that really little kids love for some reason. Nothing I would buy, I'm certain of that.

I think its TMNT too esp since new stuff have been reported in Canada.

 

The Batman stuff would probably be a close second!

moms are grabbing mostly power ranger sh*t and beyblade.

The "it" toy sounds like it's going to be something lame... well, lame to us collectors, anyway. Apparently the Bratz line is really popular, so I've heard on TV shows and seen on internet lists.

My nephew and his friends are swearing by Teen Titan toys, so I am thinking those might be the "it" toy this season.

Bratz, My Little Pony, GI Joe (esp Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow), Transformers Energon, Star Wars, and Elmos

 

I see parents looking ever so carefully through these areas and saw some kids writing down all the names of some of these on their list last month (Elmo excluded). I've had several people ask me about Star Wars and say "oh my kids love these things."

Overall though the Nintendo DS gets my vote.

yu gi oh championship sets are the latest craze at my local comic book shop. those sell like drugs.

Bah!!! When I was growing up, we didn't have Elmo on Sesame Street, and we didn't need him either!

The Darth Vader voice changing helmet IMO is the toy of the season. TRU has sold out everytime I've seen them get stock in, Target can't keep them on shelves, and at Walmart they had an endcap full of them that sold out in 1 day. This appeals to both adults and kids, so some people are buying one for the kid and one for themselves. I've seen them going for as much as $80 on ebay.

 

The other hot toy looks like it is the Spiderman and Friends toy playset. It's been going for anywhere from $50 to $60 on ebay recently. The things we do as parents to make our children happy at Xmas....

Well I know TMNT is doing very well, and TF: Energon is doing pretty well in Canada too.

In my country, Energon is selling well. I've seen a lot of parents getting TFs for their kids at the local toy stores.

Kids around here really dig the power rangers stuff Pogoman mentioned before too.
