as Some one from the printing business...

Let me just tell, it aint cheap. While the company I work for only does small runs (15,000 most), it cost at least 15,000 to 20,000 for just normal printing. Thats a dollor sheet. Now add die cutting, possible UV coating, special inks, Plastic, ect....

It can add up to 2$ a box.

Packaging is a major cost concern for companys like Hasbro.

Yeah, we don't really need it. I'm glad they're trying to cut costs in packaging rather than the figure itself... well, except for the die cast thing, but hey, I like the plastic!

I wonder what TRU reissues would cost if they had the same boxes as the Japanese releases?

What about a separate card the way the Japanese do? I don't see what that would hurt.

And they only do tri-lingual boxes to save money and be cheap. Other toy makers have no problems selling in the US, Mexico, and Canada with regionalized cards. Besides, I think that tri-lingual just clutters up the package with a ton of unneccessary writing.

Your right, I love the line, but it would have been nice to have some info.

And who in the hell cares about the tri logo??? Why is this country so freakin PC nowadays??? I mean come on, kids, even immigrant kids pick up English a hell of a lot faster than their parents, always been that way. So why even bother. They'd be able to read it.

And if the stuff is going to Canada, just put an ugly sticker on it, why they have a French first law is beyond me??? @loll@
