Night Creeper Leader

I've been toying around with an Alpha Custom that I plan to use in the future. I completed his full Night Creeper garb and i was just so happy with it that I couldn't wait to show someone. I'm also working on an unmasked version. So here it is.

 

What do you guys think?

Pretty snazzy. Though he could use a different head to differentiate him a litle more from the regular NCs visually. Still an impressive piece of work. Maybe some green on the visor to simulate night vision?

 

You can find a RAH NCL figure on Ebay pretty cheap and use his head. Not exactly a high demand figure. I used Ramparts head to make my version

I'm working on another head for him. This was my idea of his battle gear. I'll post him with the other head as soon as I finish with it. Also the lenses in his goggles is a transparent green blue over a flat aluminum. It looks a lot better in person. The custom lost a lot of detail in the photo, but that was the intention with his goggles.

I must have missed that. Well, if it makes you feel any better my wife chose all of his colors and even mixed the paints for me, but I guess you're right, great mind think alike.

I want one. I wish you had a brighter picture. I don't think that white background is very good for his colors. I'd love to see more pics.

 

Is this a hint at a continuation of your first Dio-Story?

 

You did a fantastic job on his camo pattern. This is the kind of figure that should have been released as a Night Creeper leader.

THis maybe a hint. The fact is that I don't even know for sure yet. I have started the creative brainstorming process for my next Dio-story, but I'm still torn between a few different ideas.

Probably after this weekend. I'm working hard to get Chapter 10 done and the head has been put on the back burner because of it.

She designs Children's wear for Osh Kosh and some other high end labels. She majored in Color and Textile Design in college and used to create new colors for Revlon before landing the designing gig she has now.

 

So when the choice of what color should I use comes up. I give her a yell and next thing you know she's pulling out pantone chips and making matches. Then she starts grabbing my paints and mixing up new colors. It's a whole different world to me.

 

She might have the color sense, but she don't know nothing about making Dio-stories. So at least I'm not completely obsolete.

That you are good at. But your customs are no slops either man. You have a really cool wife there! I wish my GF and her fashion sense would do that.

This reminds alot of the Strike Team Night Creeper with the colors but if I hadn't had seen that one I would have given this alot more praise. Well done!
