Aren't The New Comic Packs Supposed To Be Out?

Wasn't the next wave supposed to debut in September, has anyone seen them at retail, when should I expect to see them arrive in stores?

I think so, but given the fact that the gijoeclub has not recieved them I would think they should be poppping up soon.

Probably not in this area for some time. The first shipment of comic 3-pks soldout quickly here. However, the second shipment of them is warmin' the pegs...except for the Hawk set.

I just got the 3rd pack, so now they can bombard me with the next three. For those of you still looking for #3, Wal Mart's are getting them in. I had to break down and buy it from them. I just wonder why Target never got number three and Wal mart did.

most targets here didn't get any of them. I've only seen them at WM and KB(ironically).

#3 is the only pack I saw at Target recently. About of them, and 3 or 4 of the Kwinn pack. No Cobra packs. The distribution is apparently random across the country, based on what we're all saying here..

I found mine at Target, and didn't actually see #3 at Walmart until a good two weeks afterwards. Now they're everywhere, especially the Cobra pack.

 

I wish someone would clue me in as to why shipping on Joe items is so sporatic. There are times--like the Sting Raider--when I'll find something before others.

 

And then there are those times--freakin' VVV wave 2 @cussing@ --that I didn't find until wave 3 came out. In fact some stores didn't even stock wave 2 until AFTER they had wave 3.

yeah wave 2 only appeared at k-mart around here and wal-mart is already bare after putting out wave 3

as far as I am aware the release schedule is:

 

packs 4, 5, and 6 are due out in stores Sept/Oct 2004

 

Packs 7, 8, and 9 are due out in stores Dec 2004/Jan 2005

 

more packs to follow later in 2005.

 

 

 

so... we still got some time before the next wave of packs could hit. I don't think that we've even seen packaged samples yet. Usually the Hong Kong guys have a sample up a few weeks before they get here -- though not always.

 

If there's still no sign of them by the 2nd week in October... then I'd be concerned.

This is odd. One of my Targets still doesn't even have the first two yet. I think Hasbro and the retailers really should think about distribution. Why can't they just have a release date for stuff? DVDs, books, comics, etc. all have planned street dates. Why not toys?

I'm amazed KB has been getting so much stuff in lately: The comic packs, the Neutralizer and Hornet, the CCC in abundance all of a sudden...

You mean KB is actually getting new stuff? Coulda fooled me. My KB has sh&*. Actually, TRU has been good to me lately. I was able to find wave 3, F-22, and the Marvel legends figs there before anyone else got them in.

WOW my KB gets all the old stuff, I will have to check to see if they have gotten anything new, most of the time it is all discontinued stuff as well as old stuff.

I would expect to see the comic packs (just issues #4 and #5) appearing around the first week of October.

 

I just got five Cobra Officer (issue #5) baggied production samples and a carded sample, so I'm absolutely positive that they have already been shipped from the orient and are en route to retail distribution centers.
