found a whole slew of kooky knock offs from remco the other day! oddly the tiger force looking guy and the artic looking guys came out a whole 2 years befor thier gijoe counter parts?? who's knockin off who here?

i got these at a comic book shop near me they were in zip loc's 2 for a buck! so i picked em up for custom fodder! i did pick up a clear remco ninja a few years ago, as well as a guy the one side of his head is a normal face then if you turn his head backward he's a werewolf?? i thought it was cool at the time so i bought it?

Theres a pretty nifty Stealth Ninja in clear plastic from Remco.

 

They also made that nifty CRYSTAR line.

I recall one Christmas my parents got me a set of these that was either from the Sears or JCPenny catalog. I LOVED them, I had a Silver guy who looked like a paratrooper, but more futuristic. I still try to hunt him down at flea markets, but sadly only find him in different color plastic...

Dude! the figure was called "airman john" if he was silver and had a helmet on (like a pilot type helmet) and red gloves?? when i was young i got that same set i think my little sister always played him it was her favorite too! she still has him to on her shelf at her house! i think she swiped my clear ninja too cause he's on that same shelf??? j/k Kel if your reading this

That's him! He also had blue trim on the sides of the helmet and along his cheast and legs. I think he even had a hole in his cheast for an air hose, or perhaps they were in his back. Man, I loved that figure.
