Besides Snakes eyes and the wack pigeon ninja from american ninja 2, what ninja uses a gun? kinda defeats the purpose of being a silent assasin and all.

Storm Shadow HAS military Commando training. He served in the same LRRP unit with Snake-Eyes and Stalker. This fact is well documanted in the comic book. Stormshadow versions 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 and BOTH 12" versions of the esteemed Mr Arashikage have all been issued with a firearm of some kind. While they might not be his primary weapon of choice Stormshadow is certainly no stranger to firearms.

As for the "Silent Assasin", how often do you REALLY see a Ninja used for that effect in a Joe comic. Basically theyre little more than cannon fodder grunts with swords and fancy pajamas.

Or you could just use a little imagination and have a ninja that LIKES to use a machine gun sometimes. Say one is a NINJA COMMANDO likeSnake-Eyes. And Commandoes are known to use guns. These are FICTIONAL Ninjas and as such arent neccessairly bound to the same methods as Ninjas in other fictional stories. Ninjas in other stories can teleport in a puff of smoke and leave a log in their place. Doesnt mean Snake-Eyes has to.

Or you can simply put the gun away in your storage bin, or give it to another Joe or Cobra.

But in the grand scheme of things we have to suspend belief for in GI Joe, a ninja with a rifle really isnt stretching things that much

I hope this Black Dragon Ninja is connected to the organization from the convention, and that they'll touch more upon it in the future.

Exactly. Take a look at Issue 107, when SS and Stalker are up in SS's hideout. A ton of weapons, from guns to edged weapons; Stalker picked up an Ingram MAC-11. And on top of that, there are sound supressors for guns too, like the silenced version of that Ingram that Stalker used in that issue.

When you REALLY wanna get down to it Ninjas arent traditionally Accountants or regarded as using high tech gear. If the Night Creepers can be the way they are then one of the Ninjas coming with a machine gun really shouldnt be any sort of an issue at all.

So much for a certain someone once saying that the MC con names and characters were owned by MC and Hasbro couldn't use the names etc. Either way that will be Ninja Ku to me.

Draven

I hope this means we can at least get Demolisher, Crusher, and one member of the Dreadheads, (Or use the mold at least as a new Dreadnok) with distinctly different colors of course, (To preserve the con collectability, whose colors were kinda crappy anyway) as part of a Drednok 6-pack.

Ill probably stick with the original generic trooper use for the black Ninja.

I would only want to see those characters when Hasbro has given us a new Buzzer, MonkeyWrench, Thrasher and Roadpig.

But as far as reralease's i;d be okay with them again as like you said the colors probably would be better.

WOW, that set looks nice but I have to agree the seller must be wrong. As much as this is a a good idea for troop building and I think it would be a hit either way (w/ vypra and SS v2) or w/o I am still picking up this set.

On the filecard it shows Vypra. If you read it , it also says....Black Dragon Ninja, isn't that the guy from last years convention exclusives. Black Dragon?

I thought the Black Dragon Clan/Syndicate/Group were mercenaries for hire and not perm members of Cobra. In fact, isn't the Black Dragon more of a hold over from the Joe Colton days?
