Mastodon

I just got the new Mastodon and I have to saythat it is so much better than I expected. The artwork is awesome and the album features Neil Fallon of Clutch and Scott Kelly of Neurosis. It is so melodic and heavy at the same time. This is one of those albums that puts a band on the map, without a doubt they will have a huge year. Jaeger tour this fall, Ozzfest next summer is my prediction. Great album, go pick it up when it comes out which is next tuesday.

They were recently here in Minneapolis about a week ago with Fear Factory. Didn't go though

I have to say though that I have seen them twice before and was somewhat impressed, not blown away. Now I am looking forward to hearing the new stuff live, Jaeger tour all the way.

Mastodon were on my map with their first e.p. I wish they would tour with Burst. Have you heard Burst?
