A New Rodimus Prime (g1 Ofcourse)

I was thinking, how could I kitbask a new Rodimus.... could use a 1/100 scale MK II Gundam model for the thighs... aaaaand... hmm, get some of those wave system ball sockets for the shoulders. Remold the head so that it looks more proportionate to his body. cut his arms just above the exhaust pipes on his for arms andgive him some crazy new arm articulation.... Best part would be that he'd still be fully transformable cuz of the fact that all you do to transform him anyway his flip the "hood" over and slide it back, & he connects with his trailer. Any one up for a challenge?? I know I am... Just need the money to do this. Let me know what you all think.

It would be cool if the original Rodimus had more articulation, especially in the legs, but re-doing one on your own to include Gundam joints would be hard as hell. I couldn't do it anyway.

I really hope they do Rodimus Prime as he is shown in the manga since E Rodimus seems to be homage towards this version and DW seems to model him after that style as well. Ever since I was a kid, I always thought the cartoon styled Rodimus was an eye sore.

As for the Robotmaster Rodimus Prime, I, myself haven't heard anything. The scan that you saw was supposed to be for people to vote who should be next in line, and the winners of that pol were Star Saber and Victory Leo. Although, a Robotmaster verson would be cool to see. Would have to be better then the G1 version that doesnt have that much behind he robot design. Ofcourse, if he did, then I wouldnt be thinking of kitbashing him, now would I?

By the way, the custom the guy started on for the rodimus incorporates hot rod. If you can imagine a somewhat stock hotrod that fits into the design but is also a removable seperate transformer.
