Hey, i got to looking at the patch on Mainframe's left army, and it looks remarkably similar to the one on my left arm. i don't have the figure for reference, and the yojoe.com picture is kinda small, but isn't that like a tri-star for his patch? that's what i got! too cool.

I was an army guy myself....so I'm not fimiliar with marine unit patches.

well, if that's his patch, then nope, i got a different one. ours looks a whole lot like the tristar in the middle. i'm in the army, i didn't know that mainframe was a marine. oh well, saw a small similarity and thought maybe Hasbro just took artistic license. oh well. how depressing. Mainframe wasn't in my unit.

Do you have the triangular patch that's red/Yellow/Blue on your class-A's? I remember seeing that one a lot. My old unit was "the Big Red One" by the way. Our patch looked like a big green shield with (surprise!) a big red "1" in the center.

No, I got the III Corps patch. It's a blue and white tristar. I've had the 101st Eagle, and the coscom 'leaning outhouse.' As far as combat patches, i'm authorized to wear all three i mentioned, plus the 10th Mountain, and the 18th Airborne Corps.

for that matter the many of the deaths in Trucial Abysmia and Benzeen were handled similarly to the way they happened in the Serperntor Return arc: vairous characters showed up for the first time in ages so they could be killed off to darken the tone.
