Cobra B.u.g.g.

Pit Viper

I don't think B.U.G.G. actually DOES stand for anything. I've seen the box and I don't recall it actually saying anything as such. Same for E.E.L.

Well it does say something underneath the name on the front of the box. That much I know. Anyone who has this know what it says?

Here's an interesting bit of info:

Though never pointed out in any official documents, such as toy blueprints, the Cobra Piranha's STAAL GUN has a sticker beneath is reading "High Accurate Velocity Equation For Ultimate Neutrilization"

What does that say in acronym form?

"HAVE FUN".

I have the box it just says weapons do not shoot under the cobra bugg title

its printed like this:

COBRA BUGG

(weapons do not shoot)

no periods inbetween the letters of bugg so I dont think it stands for anythin I'll have to dig out the instructions to see if it says on there

I love the BUGG. It's just so wierd and goofy--like an amalgamation of two or three different vehicles. Whoever designed it definitely wasn't concerned with the nice clean lines associated with other Cobra naval vehicles. The BUGG reminds me of those old deep sea diving suits, the ones with the cast iron globe for a helmet.

Also, besides the screwy "Have Fun" thing with the Cobra Piranha's guns, did anyone notice anything funny about its engine?

Say, like how the blueprint claims it has *** 12, 000 HORSEPOWER ***

Perhaps I missed something in high school autoshop, but I think that technically makes the 775 HP Hydrofoil look like a tugboat.

That's exactly why I like the Bugg too! It reminded me of the old type diving gear too. And the colors were approperiate imo. There are a lot of bright fish in tropical seas. I just love the Bugg.

Well, I've been pouring over the images on Yo Joe, and, though some of the sheets do list it as an acronym "B.U.G.G.", darned if I can find what it stands for either. Anybody got the box to one?

Oh, and I don't think E.E.L. became an acronym until the new electric kind with the crap proportions, and they still don't seem to list what it stands for.

With all this talk of the BUGG, it brought up in my mind the strange similarities in basic design and function of the following 2 vehicles.....

Both are amphibious tanks with detachable subs, and transport capabilities.... It seems weird to me that they would be released within 2 years of each other.

BUGG

and

Hammerhead

Any thoughts??????

Any thoughts??????

Cobra Island defenses?

But damn, is the Hammerhead a stupid vehicle. I have one, it's just ##$%$#ed looking. Like a giant, terrorist monster truck.

The BUGG RULES.
