Shops In Ny City Area????

Let's see....

TRU in Times Square - It's cool as a tourist thing, but nothing new really there toywise.

ImageAnime on 30th between 7th and 6th Ave - Cool little shop. Check their website to see what they got. They have a nice Tf display up front.....but it's near MSG, so it could be crowded down there with Republicans.

Toy Tokyo on 2nd Ave near St. Marks Place - Very cool shop with tons of stuff, especially urban vinyl and starwars. some TFs. Great place just to see things. again check the website.

KidRobot in Soho - Cool for Kubricks and vinyl. The website has directions.

Go to Chinatown, several underground and basement stores have a lot of import TF's and video games.I don't know where exactly,I just walked around and found them, its not hard.

cool shops but prices that will rape your wallet and not call it the next day.

But if that sounds fun, try looking around Elizabeth Street, just north of Canal Street near a police station.

All this NYC talk makes me want to make the trip. Now. Right now.

Who's up for a tri-state TNI get-together in NYC? I think it would be a blast. Picture a fairly-sized horde of toy nuts scouring the shops for goodies. Makes me wanna cry. ;)

Not really Pogoman. Chinatown prices aren't as bad in the basement. Those are much MUCH cheaper in imageanime. Believe me. The only store that rapes you in price in that import store next to that mall.

$75 for a Armada Galvatron!

$40 for Red Alert!?

WTF!?? @grumpy@

Royal, they probably don't get the best prices regarding TFs. There might be some higher than usual mark-ups, but the bottom line is probably that if they pay more, you pay more. And in Chinatown, it's compete or die.

And you live in NYC so you know rent is no joke.

Otherwise, GTA list should do the trick.
