If you guys don't know, the official GI JOE CTGC site is up.

They have a Flash demo of how the game is played. Now I can't play card games for jack but the way they explained it, it seems very easy, very quick, and very fun!

 

I can't wait!

 

I called my comic shop and ordered a box of the boosters and 1 each of the starters. The site doesnt have a checklist yet. They will put it up when the game is actually available. The characters are JVC versions that DD drew up.

I am not much for these kinds of card games, but I will certainly pick these up for the art work. I am glad they asked the DD guys to do the art.

Yeah when I went to pick up some comics the owner said that he was going to pick up a few packs to see if it moves, I will be getting some to support the gijoe product line. The art work is awesome!

What is a "Moray recruit"?

If it follows like a lot of CCGs, various Vipers will have three levels or more:

 

Recruit

Moray

Expert

 

'or something along those lines. The higher the rank, higher the point value and so on. As for my feelings on the CCG, I'll just quote my other post.

 

Pretty basic with only Solider cards... It's not going to get CCG fans into it, so if people want it to continue they're going to have to buy a LOT of boxes.
