Yeah...ugh...what's really good?? Anyhow, check this tidbit of information I got from Seibertron.com out:

NEWS/RUMORS: Remenber the alternator mini cooper, well he have made another appeareance, this time in themini cooper site itself, let us remenber that this same thing happen with the mazda alternator/binaltech called Meister, so lets hope this same thing happens with this Mini cooper. It seems a bit to detailed for an alternator, but we can hope that they add some good details for the site...

This is not an alternator.

This is flash clip of a supposed real robot some guy has built, there are several vid clips of different tests around on the net.

There are still several debates as to wether its real or CGI, but thats the deal.

No way... BBTS states specifically that's not the actual toy.

It looks like a damn Bionicle or something... I think this one'll probably end up being Bumblebee... I heard VW didn't want to be associated with a war toy, even though the new Bug is a perfect choice. Funny, since Hitler basically founded that company...
