I'm really hoping that the comic 3-pack line is really successful, as I want an issue 11 pack, which I'd guarantee will be Doc, Snow Job, and DESTRO!!!

I have to admit, I was not a big RAH fan generally until these sets appeared, as I was put off by their huge, crude melon shaped heads. With the improved heads and better decos these are GREAT....

The only bad egg I found was the gung ho t-crotch wich isn't that bad

"Hubba..Hubba..Hubba..Hubba!"

"I'm a HAPPY BOYHAPPY BOY

I'm a HAPPY BOY HAPPY BOY!"

Looks pretty damn good I must say! Some needed repaints and re-tooling on a few things and boy what a DIFFERENCE! :)

I usually get a little bummed on just another repaint, but these were done up extremely well!

Now let's all pray that they don't mess with the paint schemes on any of these...

Kamakura Vs. Storm Shadow - Ninjas, meh. Makes the o-ring cravers happy though.

General Abernathy Vs. Overkill - N/A

Link Vs. Night Creeper - I actually like the head, but the body looks like a generic CORPS worker. I like this shade of blue on the Creeper better then the original, but the green eyes make it iffy.

Duke Vs. Venomous Maximus - You know that the red on his arm is going to go. Too many parent groups will #$## about it being 'bloody'. His staff is kick arse though. Duke is stilly fruity without his anal beads or with.

Gung Ho Vs. Wild Weasel - T-croutched and a pilot by itself. Not for me.

Scarlett and Switch Gears - The paint scheme does Scarlett's sculpt justice, this is the original VS body with the new head right? Nice. 'Gears' still looks goofy to me though.

Gung Ho and Grunt - Gung Ho twice in a row? Hey that rhymes! Grunt is cool, I always loved cameo paint.

Viper and Tele-Viper - PP paint scheme improves on the new Viper mold, but I don't collect sub-sets.

Bat 3.2 and Bat 4.0 - Wow a NEW BAT in the original colors. Too bad it's packed with Ultron.

Alpine and Crosshair - Better paint scheme, but why's his rope blue? Crosshair is like the best VS mold ever, unless they paint him pink he'll never be a bad figure in my eyes.

Slice and Slash - Again, Ninjas. Meh.

Wild Bill Vs. Coil Crusher - N/A, same as original release?

Sgt. Bazooka vs. Dreadnok Torch - Still not Bazooka to me. Torch is GREAT. 'but I don't like the molded flames. I can live with that though.

Frostbite Vs. Snow Wolf - Yes, I don't have to buy the velichle for him. Plus he gets a snowboard! I loved figures when they came with them. Snow Wolf is nice, but I wonder what's under the helmet?

Tunnel Rat Vs. Razor Claw - Rat's backpack looks odd for some reason? Razor's helmet looks removable?

Electric Eel Vs. Shipwreck - So... Who wants to buy a dozen + Shipwrecks?

Duke Vs. COBRA Commander - Bwahahahaha.

Alpha Venom Chamber - Nice, now we just need a new Serpentor to REALLY use it.

Sting Raider w/ Electric Eel - Want to see closer pictures before I judge.

Desert Coyote w/ Recondo - Still a silly looking ride to me.

Snake Eyes w/ Ninja Lightning - Don't need another Snake Eyes, but the bike is nice.

Storm Shadow w/ Ninja Lightning - I'd buy this Storm Shadow before all the others. Same goes for the bike.

Barrel Roll w/ Glider - Eh... They managed to make me not want this figure.

Dart w/ Gun Station - I was never a fan of a weapon that stood still.

Crimson Sabotage Set - RAH fans can be giddy now.

Urban Strike Team/Anti-Venom Sets - I want the Anti-Venom set because of the Steel Brigade. Urban team has too many odd choices for my taste.

Arishikage Ninja Strike Team - For a fan community who's really anti-Ninja, I haven't seen much bitchin' about the large amount of Ninjas coming out.

#4- Zap, Grunt (undercover), Snake Eyes

#5- General Flagg, COBRA Officer, Steeler

#7- Horror Show (New sculpt from waist up!!!), Stormavich, Stalker

#8- Rock n Roll, Short Fuze (w/ glasses!!), Flash (astronaut uniform)

#9- Breaker, COBRA Commander (in hologram form), Scarlett

Wow, dare we hope for all #155 issues? Dare we?!?!

Quick question though, who's this?

My guess the molded flame can detach from the flame thrower. They use that same kind of molded stuff for Star Wars figures for laser fire and they come off those. I kind like it though.

I guess I'll be the first one to say it. The Crimson H.I.S.S. and ASP combo says it will be an exclusive. I'm assuming this means a TRU exclusive. Looks like it will be this years Infantry pack problem all over again. Especially if they lose the Amazon lawsuit, And close 100+ stores. I guess I'll start saving now to be able to afford the over inflated scalper prices.

Boo-YAH!!

I am so glad that so much RAH stuff is coming out. I'm especially glad to see SS v2 and the HISS 1 w/ ASP. I'm definitely getting 2-3 of those HISS tanks. The ASP alone is worth the purchase [not really a big fan of having so many red vehicles, though].

The Ninja pack... OH DAMN! ...... that's kick ass. I would've liked original colors. Hope another set(s) come around with SS v2 in more solid colors and as a Joe. SS v1 is also another pleasant surprise. After all he's been through, I can't see him as a Cobra anymore. Jinx mold/colors are kick ass too, and this too, I hope gets released again in better colors [than TF2] and a Joe.

So for me, for the rest of the year, 1 each for the Joe stuff, 2-3 each of the Cobra stuff.

And though I've given up on JvC stuff, the new paint jobs look pretty good. The flame on Torch's gear is definitely a nice touch.

Hey there, from the convention!

I just want to tell you that all the hoopla and comments about the new joes....

They're DEAD ON! I was simply amazed... I just stood there looking at them with a smile on my face.

Oh and the HISS is going to be a K-Mart exclusive I believe. Anyone that's here at the convention can correct me, I'll look again tomorrow.

But these things are beautiful! Oh man, I can't wait until January 2005!!!!

LONG LIVE GIJOE!!!

God no I hope not. There probably isn't a K-Mart within 1000 miles of where I live after all the closures.

Me too, man. There is a Big K-Mart near me, but they totally suck as far as Joe stuff is concerned. My fellow lower Manhattan Joe shoppers can confirm that... !!!

Hasbro is trying hard to pull me back in, and these figures will do it. I am really happy about the comic 3 packs, but I hope they give us a regular Grunt and Flash eventually, especially since they are giving us the regular Snakes and Scarlett. I also want to see a Steeler and Grand Slam. Keep up the good work Hasbro!!! I'm going to take back some of the bad things I've said about you. :)

Same here. The nearest one's in LUBBOCK and that's 120 miles away.

well all of the rah stuff is RAD!!! i'll pick up the VvV o-ring stormy for sure. probably torch as well. i'll have to see about the others once i seem them in person. my only complaint is that the crimson guard pack would have been the perfect opportunity to reintroduce the HISS II to the mass population (though i'm hoping for a straight black repaint eventually).

Did anyone else notice they made Flash using the old Action Astronaut figure?

I did but I wasn't sure. Guess they got their use out of that old mold after all.

Oh and will we ever see a Grand Slam figure?

All they would have to do is a head swap with a normal Flash figure to make one.
