Jsa Or Jla??

I know that the JLA has all the big, classic heroes...Superman, Batman, Flash, GL, WW, and all that...but for some odd reason I prefer the JSA....Dr. Midnight, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher, Hourman, Hawkman, and guys like that are pretty cool IMO...anybody else, besides me, prefer the JSA?? I was just wonderin'...maybe I'm the only one???

I'm JSA all the way.The legacy,the history,the family interaction,and having the best writer in comics(###### Johns) helps the team as well.

I think JSA is more powerful than JLA even though JLA is more popular.

a couple of years ago I would have fought tooth and nail that no one beats the JLA, they have the biggest guns and can take on whatever the universe throws at them...

 

Then I started reading ###### Johns' JSA and was blown away... then I dug back into the golden age and became a lifetime fan.

 

The JSA has legacy unlike any other group. They were the first. The characters seem to have more depth because of the heritage of the heroes of WW II moving into the 21st century.

I have always had a special place i my heart for the JSA. The history behind the team, as well as the rich characterization of the members. These were THE original heroes. SUperman was first....the rest followed. Every comic company that followed the JSA, copied the JSA's success and characters to make a buck. The fact that the JSA was the first Superteam anywhere makes them the stuff of legends. It's like they were the basis for everything that came after, the Mythology of the modern world. The Greeks & Romans had their stories, we have superheroes.
