Recommended Posts

Broncos tight end Shannon Sharpe formally announced his retirement on Thursday. The record-setting tight end and eight-time Pro Bowler will join "The NFL Today" show on CBS. He showed up at the Broncos training facilities on Thursday to spread the news. "It's not a good time to retire. It's not a bad time to retire," he told the Associated Press. "It's just time."

Sharpe will be replacing Deion Sanders on the NFL Today Show. I still won't be watching that show. Fox has a lot better of a show with JB, Bradshaw, and Howie (and Jilian Barberie).

Wonder if Shannon will do better as an analyst than his brother Sterling. Time will tell.
