Just Wrong!!!

I was in Wally World tonight looking for the wave 3 basics and Mirage (sadly no luck) when I noticed something odd mixed in with the Fatimuses & Megatrons. Someone had removed Megatron from the box and then went to the trouble of wedging in and twist tying down an assembled Armada Tidalwave in it's place (in supership mode)

If I had a camera phone I'd have gotten a pic, too funny

I've seen stuff like that... but never with a Transformer. Where I part time (it's a place I call Prison L.I.) we have big brown boxes with items and people tear 'em apart sometimes and put something else back in it's place... but a Transformer with a clear translucent window on the front cover. That's just wrong man... I mean... how do you wake up with yourself in the morning?

I dunno, it probably wouldnt be that hard, you'd have a nice new (and free :D ) TF to look at and/or play with.... @smilepunch@

I got one better than that... I was looking for Energon stuff a few months ago when it was still pretty new, and saw a funny-looking Ironhide in box... upon closer inspection, it was the front half of a badly beat up RiD Ultra Magnus, not even tied down or anything! Now THAT stuff I wonder how the hell it got through customer service - and to top it all off, when I pointed it out to the floor manager on duty, they asked ME what was wrong w/ the item; they couldn't even see for themselves!!

I liked him but he broke cause I stepped on him. I don't know, their just idiots working at a counter. If I walked in with a human limb and said it was a doll beachhouse I'm sure they'd give me credit or a refund. I've gotton away with alot of stuff...

Well, some places will staple them shut after receiving them. Usually though, if I return something like that (taped), I tell them it is defective. But occasionally, they put them back on the shelf/peg. I once returned a G.I. Joe 2-pack taped up. A day or 2 later, I found it hanging on the pegs. Needless to say, it didn't take long before someone stole the figures. The funny thing was that pack stayed hanging sans figures for about a month.

If I tell them it is defective, it is not my responsibility to make sure it is sealed 100% since they shouldn't be putting defective products back on the shelves in the first place.
