I like Season 2 better. But, Season 1 has more episodes on it.

Get season 1....then ,whe youre done watching it you'll really wanna watch season 2, so you'll havta go out and buy that too...heh....then you'll want season 3, but it aint out yet

Yeah season 2 is better, if your only going to get one then I would say get season 2.

I'm in the "buy both" camp. While Season 2 is excellent, Season 1 lays the foundation necessary to better appreciate what came later. You need to experience the origins of the characters -- especially Airazor and Tigatron -- to really take in what goes down in Season 2. Both sets are definitely worth owning.

 

Be warned, though, the menu navigation is absolutely HORRIBLE.

I say DEFINATELY get both seasons. That show is SO worth watching its not even funny. While I like Season 2 better, Season 1 has FANTASTIC eps like Possesion, The Spark, and Spider's Game. THe opener is pretty good, but once everything gets rolling, you'll be hooked. If you are a G1 fan at all, all those little references will have you scream for more.
