Looks like they combined the Crimson Guard suits with the basic Cobra Trooper Navy Blue suits and got Purple uniforms.

That's the whole point of the thread. I set everybody up hoping and anticipating they're going to see the real deal, and BOOM, I hit `em with the punchline. I'm not out to get a flame war started. However, anybody who would start one over this has no sense of humor and is totally infantile.

 

I don't know if they've gone into production for the real deal, yet, but I think they ought to get these uniforms and repaint them for COBRA soldiers.

This is really hillarious. I just can't stop laughing. I mean why didn't I think of taking shots from the new 'dodgeball' preview that I've only seen 18 times involving some obviously farsical take on the rollerball flick from a few years back and pawn it off as a 4/1 joke to the forum touting the joe movie reference as a tagline because the teams logo is VAGUELY cobra-esque? Absolute brilliance in practice.

Oh yeah, i did think of it but immediately decided against it due to the weak factor.
