Just to let you guys know that Universe Ramjet AKA Armada Skywarp repaint has been sighted in BC, Canada at a TRU.

 

I myself did not see it, but a fellow collector saw 3.

 

Found it odd how us Canadians got something before the US.

Interesting. Walmarts in Ontario have begun to see the new G.I. Joe stuff before the US as well.

I know what you mean. I think the figure could use a bit more detail, such as in the tail wings. Plus I don't need yet ANOTHER bunch of Mini-Cons I already have, especially if I ALSO get them with the other wave 5 Universe stuff.

 

Don't have a problem with them throwing Mini-Cons into Universe, it just be nice if they both renamed them once in awhile AND used different ones with each figure. Ramjet comes with the Air Military team, Whirl also comes with Gunbarrel and Magna Stampede with Terradive.

This is a very impressive release into the Universe line. That was a good mold... and those Minicons he comes with were some of the very best ever. Nice new colors too... and the name fits well.

There is nothing wrong I see with this release... if I had the money I'd consider gettin' him.

Then again...

I think though the only Ramjet I'm gonna want is gonna be the Red PL Thrust when/if he finally gets released stateside. Skywarp is my man... and I like him being 100% original a Seeker in my Armada collection.

I've seen pretty well everything current for the Universe line thatis not a Walmart exclusive. As you know we aren't fortunate enough to recieve them here.

I have no qualms about the mold whatsoever. I agree, it's a fabulous choice to release under Universe, but I still stand by the fact that i think the colours kind of suck. I think it just appears a little too bland for my liking, they could have broken up the white a bit more maybe that would have helped but who knows.

 

Now what minicons are the ones that come with this? Anyone care to tell, I can't seem to remember which ones for some reason.

I dislike his robot face mode colors! Ew! Uglyest thing I've ever seen! How ever I Love the blue & white! Minicons! WOW! They cheaped out on us the bastards! If you look at the box colors there light years better than what they are now!

 

Are the minicons colors even changed at all from the original? Personaly I wished they had stuck with the colors on the box! I would love to have that one really long jet in the blue & white colors in display next to its upcoming double!
