Have We Seen All The Energon Cast?

I am a big Armada fan... and I absolutely loved the entire line. Excellent molds and character designs in my book.

It can't help but be noticied though that the cast of original characters and molds was very small. Only about ten Autobot molds and a few less for the Decepticons... lots of Minicons though...

Now Energon is comin' in... and it's been pretty strong so far, but a few repaints have already been announced and are heading our way. But so far we've seen over ten original Autobots and Decepticon molds. Not bad at all, some are very impressive.

But who here is starting to wonder if we've seen 'em all already? I mean, we know they like to do repaints of molds... but so far we've only seen Hotshot and Strongarm I believe. Is anyone gettin' that feeling that it's only a matter of time now 'till the Energon repaints wash over us... or do you think they'll keep pumping out original molds with Energon for a while longer??

Well, they need product until at least early summer 05 (which is the current estimate on TF: Next's release according to Hasbro's timetable of 18 months). I bet we will see at least 8 new basics, about 6 new deluxes, about 3 more megas, maybe a couple more ultras in new molds before the line ends.
