In order to encourage TV stations and advertisers, the WWE has launched an advertising campaign showing how it is a great way to reach the 12-34 year old demographic. The ad, with the slogan "Think Outside the Ring", will run on Multichannel News, Broadcasting & Cable, Advertising Age, Ad Week, Brand Week, Media Week, and Hollywood Reporter. They will be using the buzz created from WrestleMania XX's mainstream exposure to help launch the ad campaign.

On the recent WWE tour of South Africa, Air Tran officials complained about the conduct of some WWE personnel during the chartered flights. One of the main complaints was that the wrestlers didn't pay for any alcohol while on the flights. The confusion may have come from the fact that flight attendants didn't ask for payment and immediately offered Brock Lesnar and Sable drinks once they stepped on the plane along with others. Also during the security check before boarding the plane, some wrestlers began joking with the security staff as a way to cure the boredom, however some saw this as bullying and inappropriate.
