Red Ninjas, who isn't sick of Ninjas?

I know I'm not. ;) Gimme a RAH SS v1 mold (recast mold please) in red... lead buy a SS v1 in white (original colors [or close to it] and gear [mandatory]), and we have the Arashikage Ninja Pack. A RAH Night Creeper pack would be alright too.

Otherwise, I'll fly with the majority: RAH Crimson Guards/Crimson Guard Immortal pack with original gear and colors and/or Night-Viper pack. The rifle for the Night-Viper was only alright... it was cool that it clipped onto his leg.

OOOHHHHHHHH I like this idea I'm not sick of ninjas and would love a set like this. Nice idea 8speed

I actually had to vote for the Greenshirts. I'd love to have an army of more dispensable Joes. The big problem though would be making them look different from one another. COBRA could just change eyebrows as they all wear masks but masks are not a Joe thing.

NO MORE RED NINJAS

No... MORE Red Ninjas!

Just like I have my Cobra Soldier bullet-magnets, I need Red Ninja sword-magnets.

Besides, this repainting of SS v1 as the Red Ninjas is probably the only way Hasbro could justify recasting the SS v1 mold at all (I mean, it's basically the same figure used 6 times in the same pack - how crazy is that?). At least we would have the SS v1 mold back again.

Are you saying no to Storm Shadow v1? Are you?!?

I voted for the Headhunters as well. In my opinion they were one of the best Cobra troopers ever designed and conceived and I would very much like to see them, in their original mold, make a come back in mass quantity.

The Crimson Guard was my other choice but I had a feeling they had enough representation already.

The '86 or Venom Vipers would be nice to collect but only if they were the black & purple JvC Wave 2 version of the original Viper or the original red & purple colors of the Venom Viper as the figure is now (purple's my thing).

The Neo-Vipers and C.L.A.W.S. I was never very wild about to begin with.

The JvC IRON Grenadiers and B.A.T.s are available as singles right now and I have enough of both anyway. If Hasbro brought the original IRON Grenadier and B.A.T. molds back now those I would buy in bulk but there's little chance of that ever happening unless they were completely retooled like the Cobra infantry figures.

The Red Ninjas I think would need a completely original design. Perhaps something close to the look of the 12" inch figure out now. The artwork for that figure is awesome.

And the Greenshirts . . . well I don't even collect the Joes so what do I care.

Come to think of it when you look at recent events the two best figures from this poll to get reissued are probably the Crimson Guard figure or the Headhunter. I can't believe Hasbro would retool a Crimson Guard mold for that Agent Faces mail away and not capitalize on it. But I'm glad their not taking the Spytroops angle because those helmets are just too big.

And as for the Headhunters, I'm hopping DePriest will use them in the upcoming Cobra Urban Strike Force everyone voted on months ago on Hasbro's website.

CGs all the way. But only if they were exactly like the originals. Give them the original backpack and the original rifle (ie not Rock Viper, SAW Viper or Baroness rifle).

And please bring back the silver Cobra chest emblem.

Actually I'm betting that they'll do these as a TRU six pack sometime this year, considering that they have a mold, the Infantry sixer has sold so well, and that fans have wanted these for a looong time. I just hope they do it right.

And please don't include the twins in the CG six pack. Nobody needs a Tomax/Xamot army. Though, I think, everyone would probably have enough Tomax/Xamot pistols to arm a good sized T/X army should that happen. @poke2@

Well I'd personally like to see IGs. Either mold is fine with me. I'd say the JvC one mainly since they would fit better with the new figures. So I see Hasbro doing that instead of the original. Maybe put a CLAW Comander head or something on one to make a leader or something.

I'd not mind Crimson Guards either or Vipers. Don't really need NeoVipers or CLAWS since well they are around. Another idea is Alley Vipers or Night Creepers. I'd really like a swarm of Night Creepers.

Now if we are not doing generic troops, then I'd like to see a Dreadnok set. Maybe remolds or new molds of the named Dreadnoks.

Course I can see them doing Greenshirts, since they did COBRA Infantry. They need to balance it out, course they got Night Force so. *shrugs*

Hasbro already said they aren't going to do any generic "greenshirt" Joes, so we can all forget about that.

My vote's for Snow Serpents v1, Night Vipers, or Red Ninjas with a leader ninja. I'm not too into the Crimson Guard, since their whole point is to infiltrate society and not stand out. If you amass a force of them, they're only useful for standing in formation for ceremonies. The Crimson Guard wouldn't attack enforce in their uniforms, so I think they're limited in their uses.

How about some Cobra 6-pack examples?

Toxo-Force: Cesspool, Heavy Water x2, Toxo-Viper x2, Undertow.

Arctic Unit: Snow Serpent Leader, Snow Serpent x3, Snow Serpent (version 2) x2.

Desert Unit: Neurotoxin, Desert Scorpion x2, Sand Viper x2, Desert C.L.A.W.S.

Tech Unit: Scrap Iron, Tele-Viper x2, Techno-Viper x4

Aquatic Unit: Moray Leader, Eel x2, Hydro-Viper, Moray x2.

Field Unit: Skullbuster, Night-Viper x2, Range Viper x2, Frag-Viper.

CG Unit (1): Tomax, Xamot, Crimson Guard x2, Crimson Guard Immortal x2.

CG Unit (2): Tomax, Crimson Guard x3, Crimson Guard Immortal x2.

CG Unit (3): Xamot, Crimson Guard x2, Crimson Guard Immortal x3.

CG Unit (4): Tomax/Xamot, Crimson Guard Commander, Crimson Guard x2, Crimson Guard Immortal x2.

Assault Unit: Metal-Head, Annihilator, H.E.A.T. Viper, S.A.W. Viper, Incinerator, Flak Viper.

Ground Vehicle Unit: Overlord, Motor-Viper, H.I.S.S. Driver, W.O.R.M.S., Track/Nitro Viper, Stinger Driver.

Air Vehicle Unit: Interrogator, Strato-Viper, Gyro-Viper, Aero Viper, A.V.A.C., Nullifier.

Dreadnoks: Torch, Buzzer, Monkeywrench, Road Pig, Gnawgahyde, Thrasher.

Headman's Gang: Headman, Gristle, Headhunter x2, Headhunter Stormtrooper x2.

Space Unit: Voltar, Star Viper, Astro-Viper x2, T.A.R.G.A.T. x2.

Urban Unit: Darklon, Alley Viper x2, Iron Grenadier, Viper, Rock Viper.

Ninja Unit: Storm Shadow (or Night-Creeper Leader), Night-Creeper x3, Ninja-Viper x2.

What do you all think of my suggested "units?" As far as the Crimson Guards, I forgot about the Crimson Guard Commander at first and thought it would be good to include him. I also thought it would be interesting if they did one of the twins in each packs (means we would have to buy twice as many but we would).

As for the Crimson Guards themselves, their primary roll is as elite/shock troopers. I don't see why they couldn't be amassed as other troops. Besides, they'd probably change the filecards like they did Stalker anyway.

CG Unit (1):  Tomax, Xamot, Crimson Guard x2, Crimson Guard Immortal x2.

CG Unit (2):  Tomax, Crimson Guard x3, Crimson Guard Immortal x2.

CG Unit (3):  Xamot, Crimson Guard x2, Crimson Guard Immortal x3.

CG Unit (4):  Tomax/Xamot, Crimson Guard Commander, Crimson Guard x2, Crimson Guard Immortal x2.

You know, I was just thinking the same thing regarding the CG packs. I know some of you guys don't want unique characters as leaders in these Army Builders so that there's more actual troops, but having either Tomax or just Xamot wouldn't be too bad.

Each case has what? 12? So there'd be a 50/50 split in each case.

Set A: Tomax, 2x Crimson Guard Immortal, 3x Crimson Guard.

Set B: Xamot, 2x Crimson Guard Immortal, 3x Crimson Guard.

Either way, it looks good to me.

And I can't believe I forgot about the Iron Grenadiers. I'd love to army build them too. I don't know how my people would build an army for Destro, but I know I would.

Iron Grenadiers and Annihilators would be great. For a leader, I'd like Metal Head or IG Destro.

Id like to see a Viper pack first. A IG pack second and then a CG pack.

But lets be honest any troop builder pack that hasbro puts out will sell like hotcakes. If its like the infantry pack

Id like a CG set with three CGs, two CGI's and a Civilian Fred using the Headhunter body in red with some RAH Joe head like Sidetrack (RAHC w5). Equip him with Salvos briefcase, a pistol or rifle of some sort, the Agent Faces CG helmet and the Spy Troops wraparound chestplate on a matching red with silver cobra emblem

Id love a second Python Patrol set utilizing as many of the troops from the original team as possible. Like use the current Cobra Soldier and officer from the new set, a Crimson Guard (Assuming they re-cast the head as well) and the current Viper. Since the Copperhead and original Tele-Viper mlds are gone theyd either have to Frankenstien them Or just replace them with a couple other troops such as the v2 BAT, the Shockviper and/or the CGI

- Iron Grenadier set. Since we know Funskool has the molds and Hasbro is trying to get them, we can start with Metalhead as the squad leader and the TARGAT. Use the Undertow and partial Ferret setup used in the convention set. Come up with some new troop utilizing the Megaviper mold and use the v1 Ace as an IG pilot. All in a uniform charcoal grey/blue with silver accents.

Other possibilities would be Darklon as Sergeant-Major or a v1 Baroness in the charcoal grey/silver outfit with the IG logo in the Cobra emblems place.

- Cobra Crime Cartel: Headman in a dark blue suit (To customize buisness suits for Tomax and Xamot so multiple Headmen can be of use) with five Headhunters. One of which in a different colorscheme as an officer or specialist.

- Cobra Smuggling ring: Gristle with five Headhunter Stormtroopers, with One in different colors for similar reasons.

Of course thats assuming they still have the molds for the two previous sets.

-Black Dragon Team: Black Dragon using the v2 Stormshadow headand legs with the v3 Snake-Eyes body and arms. 3 Black Dragon troops using the parts from the 03 Convention version, but with enough paint differences so's not to piss off collectors. A communications trooper using v2 Sci-Fi's body with Mirages head. And an underwater demolitions trooper using Undertows head on the Navy SEAL Shipwreck's body.

first let me say that I would only buy RAH repaints..

and from your list, I would say that a Viper pack would be most appealing to me.. Yeah we have had tons of Viper repaints recently, but none of them were that great and they were always packed with other figures, not troop builders.. I would like to have a 6-pack of Vipers with about 3 of them having the original paint scheme, and 3 others with different paint schemes.

I would love to have a new set of Crimson Guards in the classic mold---but reduce the helmet size a slight to make it look proportional to the rest of the body.

For the rest, the only other one I would be interested in would be the Headhunter Stormtrooper.

Yes. For God's sake, give them decent DETAILING for once.

As for the colors, Id go with four basic Viper soldiers, one top sergeant equivilent, and an Officer. The 98 Infantry pack will go down as my favorite Post-RAH Vipers of all time.

Alley Vipers, JVsC Alley Vipers. Not the god awful VvV sculpt

I'd go for Iron Grenadiers or Night Vipers too.

The thing is, I don't think we will really see any 6-packs that don't have at least 1 individual in them. Look at the Python Patrol set, 5 troopers and Major Bludd. Even the Cobra Infantry set is like that if you consider the red helmeted figure as an individual (as Scarface).

That is why, in my examples, I had an individual thrown in with the troopers.

And, I think having ONE twin in a pack would be a good move for Hasbro meaning we would have to buy at least two packs in order to get them both.

Also, I think the whole point of these 6-packs has been and will be the use of RAH molds or RAH approximate molds. Thus, we won't be seeing Neo-Viper or other JvC Molds in tis kind of army builder pack. Even the twins, should they appear in a pack like this will be the RAH mold and not the JvC mold with the CAC. Look at both the Infantry and Crimson Guard are as close as they can get to the look of the original RAH figures.

How about night creepers

That's not a bad idea either, But if your going to do the Red Ninjas I would prefer that they do them with the Mortal Kombat Ninjas (Sub Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, and Smoke). How great would it be seeing those guys in red and black!!! Plus you gotta give them the Red Ninja leader of course, hmmm but what mold could be used for him? Maybe a repainted Dice???

Don't think many people would buy Ninja Force molds. I know I wouldn't.
