Those don't really look THAT bad. You forget those are apparently test/prototypes. Even the Armada BTR looked okay in vehicle mode. It was the robot modes that sucked ass.

 

As for Scorponok, my guess is they didn't have the parts ready for the treads/arms when they took the picture.

 

Admittedly the BTR idea is bad for Transformers. Transformers are toys that change from a robot/humanoid form (generally, heh) to some kind of vehicular/animal/tool form. The BTR sets are doing the exact same thing. So there really isn't much point.

 

 

But the most important thing is that if you all don't like them, DON'T BUY THEM! I see it as a good sign that, if Hasbro is willing to put BTR stuff out, then G.I. Joe and Transformers must be doing pretty well in their own rights. Or is it simply that those that like to complain simply need to complain about SOMETHING? *scratches head*
